Let us use all the freaking crew! I mean seriously this is full warfare. You can keep the squad we are on down to three but it always felt like the crew was just sitting there doing nothing during the missions. The end of ME2 had a brief time where you use the entire crew( what is currently left at the time) and take the objective. Since we can do multiple drop zones, then why not allow us to send in a different group to the other LZ. I mean you could give a good deal of story on how your choice of leader for that mission went FUBAR and deal with the blow back. Full Scale war means every means necessary to obtain victory. Each decision has it's consequence and every boot on the ground will benifit you!

I agree. It'd be cool if ME3 was a big suicide mission.

It'd be nice if you at least felt like you were delegating the rest of your squaddies to some other assignment. The only thing that might suck about it is me having to leave someone I truly enjoy having in my squad behind because they're the only I trust to lead fire team 2 (yes, I'm referring to Garrus in the suicide mission).

Totally agree. It would also be nice to see the return of the full team meetings(doesn't have to be often) we had in ME1 but lacked in ME2. Should be at least a little easier with fewer squad mates, especially earlier on.

The problem with this is Bioware would have to make all missions around this using up a lot of time. But a nice way to do this is like AC:B where you send your underlings on missions totally unrelated to yours and came back in an alloted time .

You have to realize that this is full scale war. In war people will be lost, and you will have to deal with the emotional/functional hit to your team. Also this game is the last in the trilogy and is built to give you a sense of hopelessness. I don't care how long it takes! Without the team doing something then they are just sitting on the ship drinking all my good booze. I want to feel like I am giving it my all and the end victory, or defeat because it should have one of those, to be sweeter! My other squad/crew feel useless in both ME1&2. Let them become useful and do something to achieve the mission.

ALL ME1 and ME2 squadmembers (those that survive) will have roles in ME3, be that a cameo, a temporary squadmember or a permanent squadmember, they will be in ME3. They'll most likely ALL be involved in the final fight that'll permanently shut down the reapers, just not as actual squaddies.

I prefer it like this. This way the people that actually are squaddies in ME3 will have more depth and dialogue.

Its not a question of realism but of the resources that bioware can put in to make it happen in the time frame of 3.6.12 but if you are not satisfied you can also assume that your teammates on the ship are coordinating an attack on some other planet with their species.

As I stated I don't care if they push it back again! They stated that it will feel like total war. Well if that is the case then we need our crew doing more to achieve the mission. You don't think three marines can defeat an entire fleet of mile high death ships!

I totally agree, it seemed kind of pointless to have a bunch of people sitting around doing nothing, even if they just thru in a couple cutscenes as to the outcome of the mission that you sent your other squadmates on and the success or failure of that mission depending on who lead the mission and a cutscene if someone died on that mission because you chose the wrong leader and how that affected you.  I wouldn't want these missions to be something that would affect the flow of the main storyline but it would really make you think hard on who to lead that mission.

Unfortunately EA would kill Bioware if they pushed it back (as would any major game company). and as for taking down a mile high ship I've done more with less ;-)

I feel the same... I get the feeling half the squad left after ME2 because they were tired of constantly being left on the ship

I hope that suicide mission like decisions will appear in ME3 in much a greater number. However, I am afraid if it is not already in then it won't be in the final game.
