I gotta admit, im very excited about ME3, but im torn between finding out about the game in the run up to its release and waiting for the game to come out and discovering its features as i play it.
Anyone else feel this way?
Anyone else torn between knowing and not knowing about ME3?

I think 98.75% of the fan base is torn like this... I know I am...

I'm more torn about the fact that there still hasn't been any announcement about HL2: EP3 yet.
And I'm torn because I don't have any new games to fill the gap between now and Skyrim and possibly ME3.

I tend to spoil the plots of movies before I watch them....
At least in a video-game they can't give you a play-by-play.

Last 2 weeks before release, I'm GONE from this forum.
I'm not letting another Collectors-spoiler fiasco ruin the game for me.

No. There's just one thing I want spoiled for me. And that would be if Miranda will be confirmed as a permanent squadmate or not. Other than that...no I'm not really torn.
Edit: And I agree with Shinobi. I remember when ME2 came out...boy was I spoiled. Don't want that happening again.

I so wanna get all the info of ME3, but then again, if I knew everything, what's the point of playing it?

No. I want to know everything RIGHT NOW. The plots repeat in an endless cycle under the sun. It's the execution that matters. Won't make the game less enjoyable for me in the slightest if I know the plot in advance. I will be discovering the dialogues and cutscenes.

Hoo boy yes. I aim to rein myself in more than I did with ME2 though, I managed to completely spoil Garrus' ME2 appearance last time.

This. Would have loved to have been surprised by that.

Always, always, always. I spoiled a big chunk of DAO and ME2 for me and both regretted and loved it. But just like DA2, I want to go into ME3 with no major spoilers, and few minor ones.

I started a poll about this yesterday, and the last time I checked it was just very slightly in favor of "no spoilers".

Yes.
Plot-wise: I don't want to know much more than what's been shown.
Features: such as squad armor, weapons, and maybe a little info on a couple of the new characters, I can handle.

I've been struggling with this the last couple of days (E3). Part of me wants to stay up to date about everything but at the same time I know every little spoiler is going to detract from the actual game.
Knowing less means more surprises whilst playing, which is definitely a good thing. Still I doubt I'd be disciplined enough to stay away from the info

This. You could tell me all the details, and I'd still enjoy playing.

Only spoilers I want is who's in our squad. ME2's hype nearly pissed me off badly to cancel my pre-order when I heard "U get new Characters LOLOLOLOLOL"
