BioWare Pulse TV. What did you think?

However currently in its state it has a major tendency to repeat itself (due to a lack of news articles currently) and the issue is as well instead of saying the date as in monday tuesday wednesday etc you should do for instance on the 10th June ........ got unveiled by Casey Hudson.
which will make it better in the long run when you are repeating news articles so that you know what is newer or older.
I feel the question and answer system was very well done especially with the use of videos and the use of banter at points.

but the word "Awesome" is getting a little tired ... i hear it everywhere , all the time, about everything.
i'd love to see interviews with the writers and even MORE with Clint Mansell !! Maybe have a hint of what kind of mood, sound textures he's after etc. We've identified ME so mch to Jack Wall's approach , it would be interesting to get Mansell's input because we'll have to adapt to that perspective.

The QA session was done well with the answers being as evasive, in some cases, you could have written them Mr Priestly.
As said above I would love this to turn into interviews with the devs writers and composers. It doesn't even have to be what they are working on at the moment. Bioware has done some amazing games, and recollections about past projects etc would be great.

My problem with Pulse is that I don't feel like I'm learning anything I didn't already learn from somewhere else. I guess Pulse needs some exclusive announcements, that the press haven't spoken about yet. As is, it seems more of a summery of past events for those who haven't visited other sites.
I agree with this... but over all I like Bioware Pulse TV.

As others have mentioned, please try to tone down words such as 'awesome' , 'epic' and other cliché words that everyone seems to be mentioning these days. [I remember 5-6 years ago; everyone used the phrase 'immersion' - after the 100th time it becomes tiresome and it is not near as effective as it was...]
I also like the idea of having interviews with developers, composers etc. --- as long as the pr guys is kept at a -ahem- suitable distance...

How often will you be doing episodes?
That's what we're working out now. This is not only a Mass Effect 3 news outlet. We plan to let you know Dragon Age, SWTOR, and Mythic game news. We plan to use it at conventions. We plan to take videos around the different offices talking with staff, interviews, having fun, etc.
This is why we're looking for feedback. I think this could be really fun as long as we don't make it another commercial for "X" game. It has to be fun, educational and interesting. Not every episode will appeal to each fan, but we want to try to make all them as good as we can.
So hopefuly your suggestions will help us craft BioWare Pulse into somethign you want to watch.
I'd say one Episode per month should be good but then a episode which is like 30 mins to an hour
Good Luck and i will let my fingers on the pulse !

Perhaps every month until the release of Mass Effect you guys could release a State of Mass Effect and let out a tidbit or answer some questions that have been building up for a month. That way you can keep focus on Mass Effect for promotional purposes and throw the community a pre-scheduled bone.

In fact any information reference to market research in the video game industry would be very welcome: books journal articles, anything like that would be great.
Also any insight into the decision making processes that go on during development would be fun.

You know the video's shown during the Gameinformer Mass Effect Hub in April?
Mass Effect: Creating The Voice Of Legion
The Sound Design of Mass Effect 3
Mass Effect 3: Creating Garrus
Mass Effect: The Origin of Species
Casey Hudson Interview: How Mass Effect Began
Casey Hudson Interview: All About Mass Effect 3
Casey Hudson Interview: Mass Effect's Feedback Loop
Yeah those are the types of things I would like to see (for Mass Effect anyway)

I really liked Pulse until now. It was spoiler free and informative. As long as you guys can keep it as spoiler-free as possible, keep them coming

Long term, most of the replies here cover it. Not only would I like to see sneak peeks at upcoming games (and the leaked press package that was taken down from YouTube is actually a good example of what I'd like to see--short, uninterrupted gameplay with no real story spoilers), but delving a little bit into the history of older BioWare games and what it was like making them would also be fascinating, so long as such episodes aren't the most frequent ones.
Also, considering the extensive interaction you guys have with your fans on the forums, videos of you all just goofing off or having fun around the office would also be awesome, and go a long way towards humanizing you to the adoring throngs of your followers (incoming hyperbole: DOES EA ALLOW YOU TO HAVE FUN OR DO THEY LEVERAGE YOUR ETERNAL SOUL FOR WORKPLACE PERFORMANCE AND PROFIT MARGINS?). Unless you wish to be worshiped as demi-gods, in which case videos detailing the best manner of practicing the ritualistic dogma of Biowarenism are required.
But really. DA2 DLC and, of course, more ME3 and SW:TOR. Now. My feeble brain can't shore up the patience for the games to actually release.

agreed, the behind the scenes videos are very interesting
and an occasional Q&A session would be fun, maybe drop the YT video questions <_<
it could also just be about answering questions that pop up in the forums alot and wouldn't require collecting questions prior to such a session
and maybe if they're not at the end of a convention like the E3 we could get answers that don't sound like the memorized promo sentences
can't blame them though, after days of saying the same things over and over and over again ... and once more
hmmm, and maybe less 'awesome' Mr. Silverman

It's too bad no girls had the courage to make a video, though. If I hadn't had an exam on that very day I probably would've tried; I'll have to put my thinking cap on for next time.

I think it has potential. I'm not terribly enthusiastic about getting bombarded with marketing slogans but seeing interviews with producers/developers/artists is usually pretty good. The interviews that showed up on gameinformers week of mass effect and e3 were all pretty good IMO.
This.

BiowareTV is a fantastic idea.
You could easily do regular episodes if you include :
-The Latest News about Mass Effect, SWTOR and Dragon Age
-Q&A with the fans
-Exclusivities
-Studio Tours
-Developer Interviews
-Making of
-Trailers
-Gameplay Previews
-Collector's Edition Unboxing
-Community Creations (fan art, videos, comics, etc)

Heck, I'd love to see Jennifer Hale's expressions while she's recording renegade lines
In short: actors doing their thing without spoiling anything. Other behind the scenes stuff would be cool too.
