Idea of the show: great.

Execution: Not so much

Pretty much this. It, right now, comes off as a series of endless buzzwords being repeated.

I thought it was great and very informative. It would be cool if it went behind the scenes and involved the 'making of' aspect and cast and crew interviews. I'm the sort of person who's interested in that stuff. Keep it up, cuz its got bags of potential!

Bioware Pulse seems to be shaping to just what I wanted it to be, so far.

It's good but announcer is getting very annoying.

1. In the future, don't talk so much about what Bioware Pulse is, and just show it.

2. Unless you are able to put content up more frequently, people are just going to forget about it all together.

3. Considering the amount of clicks it takes to get to the page to load the content you want; if you repeatably put content up that's as short as episode 7, most people will use that time to click towards any number of content providers that will offer more sustaining content.

the announcer is annoying, for sure. But I am really beginning to hate the 'chopping' that is happenning in each little sequence. I am not sure if that is my internet or not - but it is getting really old.

BioWare Pulse TV is a useful means to respond to questions from the fans and for us to understand how much work is behind a video game

I just watched part 7 (the Atlas 'Insider') am somewhat disappointed. The vid is 3:27 long, of which 2 minutes is flashy fluff and the increasingly annoying presenter regurgitating and re-chewing the same news over and over again. There's well-counted less than 1,5 minute of content. That's less than half the vid.

Name the vid "Atlas Insider" - show 5 minutes of the Atlas in development, give the animator some room to actually show off his work, bypass fluff.

Considering how many people have responded with "lose the infomercial style" in this thread, it seems a little strange to me to see the worst part, with the strongest infomercial style come out after this feedback.

~shakes head~ oh well.

Useful insight into ongoing development, but David Silverman's cheesy 'On the Pulse' catchphrase and gesture is starting to remind me of the Ubisoft E3 presentation host, 'Mr. Caffeine'; who was seriously annoying.

I missed most of the E3 coverage due to internet issues at home, so I found these episodes really handy to catch up with the latest developments on the upcoming Bioware games.

So yeah, for what its worth, I think this is a good idea.

I am not a fan. Now I don't hate David Silverman personally, but gawd he's hokey and annoying. In the end what you show on BiowarePulse is complete inconsequential, also the idea of ONE video game company have a web show is very limited, now if it was was like EAPulse or something concerning all the companies under the EA that might work better. But then it would probably 99% about their damn sportsgames.
Anyhoo I won't be watching any more Bioware Pulse.

I'm surprised at the awful sound quality of the David Silverman.... He sounds too distant ...what kind of mic are you using? Just sounds off....

More "Creating and Designing and Writing [Insert Character Name]"

I loved loved loved this video interview with Derek Watts as he talked about ME3 Garrus. It was so interesting to hear and learn about my favorite characters journey from concept art to 3-D rendering.

So it would be great if a Bioware Pulse episode featured some more character concept artists and designers, with some character-script writers as well!

Enjoy the show, just not the host. This is what I hear in my head everytime I hear him talk.

Yes, no need to have david silverman say he is david silverman 3 times per show, it's also written down when he appears. Same thing for bioware pulse. We know its bioware pulse, he doesnt have to repeat it 4 times.

other then that, its kinda good to have frequent tidbits of info. I like it.
