Hi Everyone.

E3 is drawn to a close, but you should be seeing lots of different articles on Mass Effect 3 once the reporters get their heads together after all the coolness they have seen and get them up on the interwebs.

This thread is for people to post the responses they find. Please post a link to where people can go to read teh feedback. I hope it will all be positive, but post the articles as they come in no matter how much they liked Mass Effect 3 or not.

To start this off, here is an article from IGN: Mass Effect Made Me Cry.

Oh, and articles may contain spoilers, so read at your own risk as always. ;)

Post them when you find them. Thanks everyone.

Dear God, from the demo alone the little boy made me want to cry.

You're all dream crushers. All of you.

Edit2: I go to edit this post the first time to replace the wrong link with the right one, and I forget to. Jesus.

I'm sorry but IGN's getting a little too dramatic. It's a video game. Virtual reality, not actual reality. Crying over pixels is pretty sad.

GET PWNED.

But Chris, seriously. That link held a spoiler to the result of the little kid in the demo thing. Not cool that we were revealed that so early. I'd of wanted to know that when I played the game. Might want to leave a spoiler alert for the links, man. For future reference.

If you saw all the trailers you'r realize it before it happened anyway as they showed that scene in the Fall of Earth pomo trailer.

"Oh, and articles may contain spoilers, so read at your own risk as always." It's right there.

When people say this I immediately know they have never played MGS3. I will shed a single tear for the barren life you have lived.

Yeah, no. Videogames are a form of interactive media that can immerse people who play them in ways that most other media of art and entertainment simply are incapable of doing. Mass Effect actually accentuates this even more because of it's choice-making system. It's not sad to show emotion at things which are emotionally powerful. It's sad that people think that videogames can't be as emotionally powerful as movies or books just because they're videogames.

I cried at the end of Grandma's Boy.

That may have been due to contact high.

Slightly on topic, I was ridiculously excited when I saw a child. They have become as mythical and illusive as female krogan/slaraians/turians.

Didn't mean to offend you or your game in any way, it's just that personally I wouldn't cry over something like that in a video game. Movies, thats a different story, but game's haven't really reached that, and I'm going to use one of your favorite marketing terms here, emotional engagement for me.

Since when was it geeky to like RPG elements? Not everyone who loves RPG's are hardcore DnD fans. And apparently they haven't seen the new footage of the RPG features released yesterday.

I can't agree with that... games are the next level of entertainement and as long as you're human you can cry/laugh/get pissed when playing a game without having to worry that "they're just pixels"
I guess you can't cry because for reading a book too.. afterall, it's just paper
I think the games that provoke you strong emotions (other than frustration) are great games... this can only confirm that Bioaware's games are the greatest (except DA2, which stirred only frustration inside me )

GAH! I read about the spoilers would be on the articles from the different sites but NOT that there would be on THIS VERY THREAD.... Thanks for letting me know that the boy dies sometimes after he talks with Shepard...

On the crying part, i got alot of tears in my eyes many times during the Lord of The Rings trilogy.

Beautiful, beautiful.
