good Mass Effect 3 coverage, but honestly? E3 sucked this year.
Errrrrrrr......
Looking forward to:
Mass Effect 3
Batman: Arkham City
CoD: MW 3
Battlefield
Halo: Anniversary
Halo 4
TES 5: Skyrim
Gears of War 3
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Star Wars: Kinect
Gonna Get Kinect soon
Really FAIL to see how this E3 sucked for any kind of game enthusiast, especially FPS and RPG fans.
On another note: PWNed to Assasin (who in fact spelled his own username wrong, ASSASSIN) Cause assassins have 2 bootys
Yeah, I don't even really care about half the games on that list and I still think this was the best E3s in a while
hahahaha sorry I just love the shooters is all.
Also excited for Tom Clancy's: Ghost Recon, Resistance, Fable, Tomb Raider, and FIFA 2012 but bottom line is despite unimpressive new platforms, the game reveals were stunning.

I'm sorry but IGN's getting a little too dramatic. It's a video game. Virtual reality, not actual reality. Crying over pixels is pretty sad.
-Polite
You never felt sad or cryed after the "I remember me" scene in ME1?

Oh, and articles may contain spoilers, so read at your own risk as always.
I wish I saw that before the pretty link. But I know that I'll forget by the time the game comes out so I'm good.

I will agree with you, on the bolded part. It seems the whole article was written for the last line. It had a spoiler, though how important was the spoiled information really? Was it game-ruining, or "Luke I am your father" level? It's as though the writer had to write something, stared at the clock until 4:55, had this AWESOME thought (the last line), and typed something up under deadline.

kids need to die more in videogames. im tired of shooting children in fallout 3, only for them to run and disappear into a wall.
just me? ok.
Better yet, keep the 'children can't die in videogames' practice, and have them fight off the reapers. Can't conquer what you can't kill.
But you probably can.

Intentional, for reasons I don't care to elaborate upon at the moment. Nice try though.

I'm gonna change your name to "JadedAssassin".
Didn't mean to offend you or your game in any way, it's just that personally I wouldn't cry over something like that in a video game. Movies, thats a different story, but game's haven't really reached that, and I'm going to use one of your favorite marketing terms here, emotional engagement for me.
-Polite
It is culturally acceptable to cry during movies. But why not video games? Video games are on of the most immersive forms of art, moreso than movies since movies are a passive form of entertainment and video games are much more active. The belief that video games cannot produce an emotional response similar to a movie is just wrong. This isn't the 16 bit generation anymore. Games have the ability to generate emotions when the developers choose to do so.
By the way, all of this is on top of the fact that emotions are subjective.

This scene from ME2 wets my eyes even after having seen it countless dozens of times (Me2 spoiler in the video.. don't watch if you haven't finished ME2)
Anyone who can't find a moment in certain games that cause them to at least feel genuine sadness, if not necessarily come to tears, has no heart.

So no songs, TV shows or movies generate any emotion form you either?
If you're not emotionally invested in at least one of your Sheps after 2 games then what's the point of playing a third then? No emotion in the Overlord mission when you find David? Nothing for Liara one way or another in LotSB? Nothing but cold calculation for all the choices in ME1 and ME2 is it?
Must be nice to be a Geth... or tragic.

But that kid dieing wouldn't have affected me anyway. Its just a random kid, no emotional connection would be present. Not too much of a big spoiler.

Exactly. Maybe a "oh geez, that stinks", but not a shout to the burning skies NOOOOOOO moment. If it had a character we were familiar with, then it would elicit a genuine reaction.

I cried like a baby with the Normandy reborn in ME2. I don't mind saying that
Anyway, I hope they don't spoil things as dialogue, end of missions, romances development, reunions with squad members, dramatic moments and endings. I don't mind to see combats, few missions or planets in demos, but I really want to discover the choices and their consequences by myself
