I have been wondering about this for a while now.

Playstation has this software called Playstation Home.

I've never really used it, but I think it's some kind of virtual city game online.
You get a "home" and an avatar and can decorate those how you can like.

I think xBox has a similar thing (I don't know for certain, since I don't have one), since I hear a lot about getting "props" for your avatar or something like that.

Also, PS3 can download a "theme", similar to a PC desktop theme on your PC.

So why don't we have anything like this related to Mass Effect for our PS3?

Personally, I'd love to have some Mass Effect goodies for my PS3.

A lot of players put down ME1 already, what's the point? They don't even seem to care about the first game.

I think what Tilarta was talking about is the themes, and tidbits, not the exclusive stuff that makes everyone else envious. I don't think he/she trying to say the PS3 version needs to be more supreme, but perhaps more support for those 3rd party things.

@Tilarta... correct me if I'm wrong, but you can get fan-made themes for PS3, surely theres at least one theme floating around somewhere?

As a 360 owner, I am pissed that the exclusive, only for Collectors Editon super rare armor and weapon (as well as the Terminus gear and Blackstorm or whatever its called) was put on PSN instead of being kept exlusive for Collectors Edition. I would have been fine with it if they made them for a Collectors Edition - PS3 Version instead of letting everyone buy it and not offering them to 360 owners.

As a PS3 owner, Im pretty glad I get access to to all this cool stuff, especially since theres no ME1 on PS3.

Basically, it all balances out.

That point 2. was interesting... until I realized it was based solely on metacritic scores. But yeah, BioWare has much more on the line now. If Kotor doesn't succeed, things could get pretty ugly pretty quickly, but I'm sure they know what they're doing.

I hate to be 'that guy', but PC FTW, this is why I migrated to PC. Played Mass Effect on 360 and migrated over. Not juse for ME. Besides, 360 owners get the nifty kinect stuff. I'd never use it but I'd sure as hell like to have that feeling knowing its there.

One day, just maybe, cross platform games will be equal. But they say that competition is healthy for business. The winning guys always do anyway.

Actually, I agree. I dont have any PC games though, since a keyboard just feels wrong to me. Controlers FTW, even if theyre simplified compared to keyboards. With the kinect voice control, they might be able to build on that to
replace all those buttons on the keyboard (you know, say menu to open
menu, pause to pause, reload to reload, and all that.) Theres potential
ther, but its all about how its used. Other than that, PC has greater upgradeability and all that, but Ill stick with consoles thank you very much.

Eh, I doubt that. If Playstation, Microsoft, and Nintendo came together, they would be able to make the greatest system and games ever. But if they did that, they wouldnt have anyone to compete against, and they would lose money.
