In the E3 demo, commander Shepard is holding his Mattock rifle, but has a icon of a Vindicator?

the icon is probably only a default icon for assault rifles that's a placeholder at this point in development.

Im going with placeholder. Don't try and work yourself up too much about details yet, a lot of people are letting it ruin the experience for them
