I don't think it'll truly have any effect whatsoever. It's not a release EA are going to promote heavily, nor try to usurp another release with. I would think that August thru September would be the best time to release, simply because of the number of releases after. If you think that we've got Saints Row the Third, Call of Duty: Whatever Cash-In It Is This Time I Dunno I Stopped Paying Attention, Battlefield 3, possibly two Sims expansions, Batman: Arkham City, Assassin's Brown: What Will We Kill Now?, Rage, the aforementioned Skyrim and a few others with dates that need to be finalised, EA need to get a date in there somewhere.

If it's not a pre-Christmas release, which would surprise me, I'd expect January, but certainly no later than February as that's too close to Mass Effect 3.

I would very much like this, since i like to ****** about with games on the pc after playing them on console. Not sure how likely it is though....
