This is my 3rd playthrough, i simply ignored talking to any of the npc for the start, finished circle first, went to redcliff saved connor. now i though it is a good time to check in on the camp, in the meanwhile i have just been dumping gifts to the npc's to save my inventory space.

I first talked to morrigan, gave her the black grimoire found in the castle. then talked to alistair abit, when i turned my attention to leliana, she offers me NO CHAT OPTION WHAT SO EVER <--,

basicly i can choose between #1, i want to talk to u about something, after i pick that it simply have 1 option, "no forget about it" and #2 is something in the same line.

so is it broken ?

Sounds like ya broke it lol, she's a tough one to get close to. First I exhausted her dialogue in Lothering, next at camp I did the same you'll need to yap at her consistantly when her approval rating (beyond the beginning options in Lothering) gets to 26ish, 51ish, 76ish and finally 100 (I think all npcs go by this formulae for new dialogue no?)



But make sure if you do that you wander into camp at each of those stages to be sure you don't miss the dialogue about Orlesian spies, there will be two I think once at 26 and again at 51 or 76. Giving her Andraste's Grace (aquired in tha Brecillian Forest) I think also unlocks a dialogue where she sings to yah...nice song



Also a camp-entering dialogue, she will tell you she lied about the real reason she left, giving you her side quest which must be completed (killing Marjolaine I believe.) to progress into the romantic parts. You may yet be able to fix it as I have heard of such things as resetting her approval rating via console and/or causing mass disapproval/breaking up with her. There's bound to be some more threads about Leliana as well, she's always the source of romantic troubles.

so u are saying that if i improve her approval too quick and skipped over some lower approval conversation choices i will not be able to get any higher ones?

Ok i have solved the problem, it was exactly that when i improve her approval too quick it will bug out the rest, i "artificially" lowered her approval back in to 20's, and now i suddenly have chat options available to me in the camp.

Morrigan may be an easy lil tart, but Leliana takes a lot of attention...take it slow and the prize shall be yours!
