we already know that there is no chance for permament Mordin. ME2 was his game, and thats it - I have to deal with it, just how I must deal with Wrex not returning as a permament squadmate.

We know that Liara, Tali*, Garrus*, the VS are coming back. 4 seats already taken.
I really hope that Legion is back. He's the most interesting folk out there.

Ash: A tank is needed and someone other than Garrus can play sniper

Garrus: A techy and sniper

Tali:Someone needs to open locked doors right?

Jack: Biotic powerhouse

Grunt: A krogan tank (Becuase Wrex is doing clan leader things)

I'm gonna do more than five since four of them have been confirmed.  I will also be putting them in order:

• Ashley/Kaiden: (I really enjoyed both of these characters and believe that they could fill great spots in ME3.  During the 2 years before Shepard's return, I could see both characters really uping their games since it would seem like no one else believed the reapers existed (Ashley either becoming a strong tank or an offensive beast and Kaiden becoming excellent support).  Not to mention their role as LI
• Garrus: Already been with Shepard since the beginning so there's no reason for him to not be here.  Plus what good would it be to stop the reapers if you couldn't do it stylishly.  Not to mention him being a LI
• Tali: Similar to Garrus in that she's been there from ME1 and is also a love interest. Not to mention the role she fills on the Normandy itself and a possible outcome from her loyalty mission in ME2.  Her tech abilities should come in handy against the reapers.
• Liara:  Crowd controlling beast.  Also one of the ME1 crew who deserves to be there with Shepard at the end.  As well as her LI role.
• Miranda/Jacob: Really liked both of these characters and feel like the intereaction between them and either Ashley or Kaiden would be really great.  Additionally, considering who one of the main enemies in ME3 is, why wouldn't you want them as squadmates.  Plus, Miranda fills the great support role if you do not have Kaiden.
• Kasumi:  One of my favourite characters period.  Really felt like you didn't get as much of a chance to interact with her (or Zaeed) in ME2 but, unlike Zaeed, she has a much higher chance of returning for more than a cameo.  Additionally, she was definitely the nicest member of the crew and would help to ease  the tension.  Part of me would also love to see her as a possible LI as well.
• Grunt:  Can't imagine seeing him wanting to leave the side of his battle master.  Especially considering all the big things he'll get the opportunity to fight.  He'd also fill a similar role to Ashley if you do not have her.
• Legion: Another character who you weren't really given enough time to use in missions.

[Golden Owl]

1.) Garrus...Taking the place of Second in Command....Sniper...Is Sheps bro and adds style....
2.) Kasumi....Lightens the dark times and kicks a** on the battle field....Hoping she becomes and LI too....
3.) Legion...Primary Techie....Sniper with Widow....Fascinating dialog....Not enough of him in ME2....
4.) Thane...Excellent Sniper....Since BW's giving more stealth options, Thane may pair as Infiltrators extreme with my Shep in ME3...
5.) Zaeed....Sniper....Effective battle squaddie....Good for stories...Sounds like my dad when he laughs....

Note my obvious love for Sniper teams...
