Ashley, Mordin, Garrus, Legion, Tali

I LOVE Wrex, but story wise it would just be weird with him leading the Krogans and all, I'll be happy if he's just a temporary squaddie for a decent chunk of Krogan/Salarian missions.

Same kind of deal with Liara, she'd be much more valuable as the Shadow Broker and NOT risking her life on the battlefield constantly.

I almost chose Miranda over one of "Team dextrose" but in all honesty, with Cerberus being a major enemy in the game, I think it'd be much more interesting if she were an antagonist for a large chunk of the game.

I like Samara, but a Justicar doesn't fit on Shep's team. It's like fitting a round peg in a square hole. I am curious how they work her into the story though.

I'm kind of suprised I picked Garrus and Tali as unlike most fans I don't generally worship those 2 characters (I can take or leave "team dextrose")

I don't hate them, but it wouldn't be the end of my world if neither character was even in ME3.

Tali: . . . Yeah, I won't go on about how she has a winning personality and is one of my favorites, because unfortunately we have reached the point where that urns you a reputation of being creepy.
But besides that, the girl is insanely useful in combat whenever you face something with shields, even more so when you are up against synthetics, and I guess we'll be seeing a lot of those.

Miranda: If she keeps her team buff abilities. Fortunately she already dropped her b**ch-queen attitude in ME2. Mostly.

Garrus: Coolest Turian around and my favorite ME bromance.

Legion: Can do the Robot and carries a Widow rifle. 'Nuff said.

Wrex: I know, wishful thinking. Maybe it will happen, but I'm not holding my breath.

Thane--My shep's love interest but a great character as well.

Jack--I can see a lot of room for growth with her character and I want to make sure I see it. (I just wish she would be friends with my femshep!)

Legion--for some reason I find the geth fascinating and want to know exactly how much they are obtaining their own identites (what with legion wearing shep's N7 armor).

Grunt--He just makes me laugh so hard.

Samara--the only asari character I really connected with and felt had some depth.

These three have been mainstays from the start, and need to stay. However, I personally have little care for Liara, so I purely arbitrarily ignore her here.

As for the other two positions, that's actually pretty hard. From a story perspective, I don't think any of them are really necessary, but if I really need to fill the spots, there's these two:

Jacob (because he's actually a strong, steady, dependable, honourable fighter. I like him, he's a bro)
Grunt (because we're going into one hell of a battle, and I don't want to deprive him of all that fun!)
