Well, my favorites are already definitely gonna be back: Liara, Ashley, Tali

I'd also like it if Grunt and Legion would return as perm(although most likely won't) because legion was provided some really interesting information about the geth in ME2 and I found Grunt's gradual progression of what he finds important to him interesting as well.

Plus, geth and krogan simply kick ass.

The characters I want to be permanent the most are Jack, Grunt/Wrex, Legion, and maybe Miranda. I'm fine with the ones that has been confirmed except Garrus, and I don't care much about the rest.

honestly I’m not to fussed about them getting permanent squad status anymore. So long as they have a decent role
Maybe VS, Garrus, Tali, Jack, and Legion. Wrex and Mordin are awesome but I kind of think they would be better off doing other things. Particularly Wrex, making him a permanent squad mate would be a waste.

Kaiden/Ashley, Garrus and Liara are a must

Jack is hard to warm up to at first but she has lots of development potential depending on how you treated her in ME2 and if she survived. Miranda and Jacob have work to do within Cerberus to either bring it down or bring it to your side. Grunt/Wrex have a Krogan Army to build but once formed should be able to join you. Samara swore an oath to you and should be able to see the greater threat. Tali and Legion, once war is averted or finished between the two races should be able to join as well.

Garrus, Tali, and Kaidan, as far as the confirmed permas go. I'd also like to see Legion and Jack back permanently. I'm glad Liara is back, but I would have understood if she stayed back to do her part as Shadowbroker, so she doesn't make my five.
