I mentioned it in the ME2 forums... the "pregnant" thing was a misunderstanding. Banshee is not pregnant. That would be silly.

Asari Husks are called Banshees? Sweet

A lot better than the usual reaper Husk variant of "Oh look, enemy, reaper says charge at them till you're all dead...mmkay!".

Nice to see some more advanced reaper enemies. If the only "smart" enemies we got were Cerberus troops I'd feel like the only reason Cerberus was working against us was because the reapers didn't have any troops that could take their place as enemies. This doesn't seem to be the case.

And that's a good thing.

Sweet Christmas, they're called Banshee.  SWEET!

So the Batarian husks are the Cannibals
the Asari are call Banshees

hmm there has to be some pattern.

It would be cool if it was and when you kill it a baby husk tears through her belly and launches at you... Oh wait, this is not dead space forums. Sorry my mistake.

But there is always a pattern
Mechs in ME2 were named after Nordic Mythology
Alliance vessels have their own naming methodology
Cerberus seems to love Greek Mythology seeing as the mech suit is named the Atlas.

Lazarus is a biblical name.

Asari don't have to become husks to become banshees. Liara's gonna turn into in the confrontation if you cheated. (Yeah, apparently she faked it in ME2, there are going to be consequences in the next game regardless of her 'moving on' <_<)

I love husks! When I first saw them in ME1 I was kinda scared cuz they're like zombies (I hate zombie games) -- ME2 scared the bajeesus outta me when I went on the side mission to an underground mine full of husks...all you hear are the screams and its just wave after wave of husks! Scary zombies things... so im excited to be freaked out in ME3! :D

You too, man? :D I hate zombie games/films as well, but husks are a million times better than generic zombies. I was a bit demoralized when I was doing the abandoned mine mission at night (after that I decided that I'd always do that mission during daylight). The derelict Reaper was better, since the combat music pumped adrenalin into my veins, so those horrible screams and shrieks weren't so disturbing.

We've still got an unidentified Husk type too from one of the magazine scans. It shows a cannibal and some very lean non-human husks running with it. I actually want to say they almost have the styling of a Quarian body to them, though I think the leg structure might be wrong. So it could be...Drell husks? I dunno though - they have ALOT of crazy stuff they could do given the amount of races available.

Edit: I linked it but realized I probably can't because I think that's a magazine scan.
Edit2: On second thought, they might be human husks considering the redesign and changes made. So I might just have jumped the gun on that one haha ;)

They've done a good job, although the Batarian Husks (Cannibal?) move around rather awkwardly in the Demo. Reminds me of a pack of Turkeys, and I also would've thought they'd be using some kind of heavy weapon like the Scion. I'm also a bit perplexed how the Reapers apparently already managed to make Batarian Husks and brought them to Earth as troops. Seems a bit fast even with Dragon's Teeth.

New human husk variant looks interesting/creepy. Although I hope our good old friend Bob the Husk is still around.

While the Scions take the long range artilery role, the Cannibals take up the mid range cannon fodder role.
