If the rumour about this Prothean squadmate/character in ME3 is true, anyone else get the hunch that it'll be Ksad Ishan, the Chief Overseer of the Ilos Research Facility, the one Vigil got the personality and voice imprints from?
So is it true no Prothean DLC Character, I was looking forward to that DLC the must.

That, would actually be incredible. I mean, how deep would it set into you the enormity of the world and the fight you're about to face, when you get paired with the last surviving Prothean, the last remnant of a society, culture, and empire that was more vast and collected than anything you or I could possible fathom?

I think a prothean squad mate would be great but it wouldn't make to have such a massively important character only available as in some kind of DLC. God i hope it's not some kind of dream/vision sequence that would suck!

It was explained, it was a typo, The collectors edition will have an exclusive mission called The Protean, and also a new squad member, the way it was typed on the post was a typo along the lines of "Exclusive Mission The Protean and Squad Member" which could be interpreted as them being the same, when they are both separate DLC, one day one content for free, the other for the N7 edition of the game.

one thing that REALLY bugs me about this prothean DLC characters rumor. is that he's god damn DLC.
he's a prothean.....yet he's DLC? meaning he won't be vital to the story. yet he's a prothean.....WHAT?
makes no sense, i mean even if they somehow manage to write in a plausible nonstupid reason for him to exist, he still can't have a hugely significant role in the story because he's a DLC character making the entire point of forcing in a prothean squadmate null and void.
