I mean if you have Wrex as ruler of the Krogan he is smarter than he looks and is pretty much on Shephards side anyway. Do Krogan have ANY starships at all? Or do they just have those Derrick troop transport things

Wrex would know automatically to join whoever has the biggest guns and thats definetly where Shephard will be.

How does throwing a Krogan Princess in the mix help anything? Wouldnt that just cause Wrex or Wreav to fight over her and protect her instead of fighting Reapers? Shouldnt the Krogan Princess be a reward once the Reapers are defeated? Otherwise Galactic life is dead anyway and it wont matter how many Krogan they reproduce.

And if Wrex is dead and Wreav is in charge wouldnt Wreav just throwdown with Shep for ownership of her? Figuring hes got nothing to lose by cutting out middle man we would probably get into Kinect fistacuffs with him.

One word answer: Breed!

Long answer: Krogan breed faster than any other species! In one Codex entry in ME2 it took the Krogan just 100 years from being introduced to a single planet, to Overpopulate an entire star system.
I imagine ME3 is going to based over several months, meaning they could breed a small army. Combine that with all the other species in the galaxy and you have yourself a humongous fighting force!

She is not a princess, her name as of now is Eve, and the only alive fertile female who Mordin has been working on to cure the Genophage, she is the last hope for the krogan race. Mordin and Wrex are working together, why and what there true goal is however is a mystery.

She's the ultimate bargaining chip, as others have said.

The potential alliance between the krogan and turians seems.. very unlikely but could be incredibly useful against the Reapers.

I imagine whether Shepard chose to keep the genophage cure on Mordin's loyalty mission in ME2 will also play into things but the fertile krogan female definitely ups the anty, as they say.

Actually, come to think of it, the only way the turians (and salarians) would be ok with the krogan repopulating is if they knew there was going to be some sort of control over the situation, some sort of insurance to make sure another round of Krogan Rebellions doesn't break out after the Reaper War. It sure seemed like the "princess" was a bit of a prisoner though we don't know the full story and I imagine her breeding would be tightly controlled by the salarians (and if it gets out of hands, turians step in again).

Everyone is learning from mistakes in the past in order to unite together against a much larger threat, will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

The salarian homeworld offering a fertile female to the dominant clan on Tuchanka. I believe such wording may clear things up for you.

Thousands of Krogans rebelled because a Turian general killed one important female Krogan int the past. So it's not surprising. :)

This. Most likely she doesn´t pass genophage to her descendants, allowing the krogan to slowly recover. I also hope Eve is a "creative" translation and not her actual name or project name.

Maybe she's not affected by the Genophage.

She's not, Modin said in the trailer that she was fertile. She says it as well. I assume a fertile female Krogan would produce fertile "Non Genophage" children. I think that is why she's so important to the Krogan.
