In the new Inasion trailer at 19 secs in when it shows all the alliance ships above Earth on the screen the the ship code SR-122 comes up and its the only SRV  on the screen.

In ME1 the normandy was the SR-1
In ME2 the normandy was the SR-2

So would it be fair to guess the Normandy on the Map at 19 secs in is the New alliance refited Normandy(SR-122)?
If that true then the Normady was in the fleet battle the alliance lost  above earth during the Invasion.

Edit fix* Sorry I had SRV instead of SR at first thanks for letting me know I made a mistake guys, good eyeImage IPB

Actually, Normandy was the SR-1 and SR-2.  And the tag shown in the trailer is SR-122.  It's, um, conceivably possible that that's the new Normandy.  Unlikely, but possible.  I would think that the Normandy would be somewhere around Vancouver/Seattle, because that's where it shows up in the gameplay footage.

If probable that the Alliance went into full production of the Normandy class Frigates in the 2-3 years since ME1 especially after the success of the Normandy in that game and that is one of those above Earth

True, assuming SR is a class designation prefix for the alphanumeric (I can't remember if it is or not).

The Normandy is still designated as SR-2, look closely at the Earth gameplay video, you can still see SR-2 painted on the wing.

Yes I was mistaken I thought the normady was designated SRV -Stealth Reconnaissance Vehicle, but it's SR-Stealth Reconnaissance.

Pretty sure that's the case, SR being the hull classifiction for Normandy-class frigates. Probably stands for Stealth Recon, or perhaps Strategic Reconniassance in a nod to the SR-71 Blackbird.

However, I'm pretty sure it's still SR-2. Which only makes sense if the Alliance constructed no more examples of the class and so it can still officially assign it that number, since the ship was never on the Alliance rolls to being with.

hmm now that look at the still frame of 19secs in it seems there are 2 SR ships orbiting earth, instead of just one. So it its not the normandy then they made more normady class craft.
