 So... in the original trailer we get to see a sniper holding off against the Reapers in London, he also does the voiceovers in the other trailers. So... who is he? Will he be a squadmate? I mean we all though he was James Vega up until it was revealed the guy in the pre-order is Vega.

James Vega's face in pretty blurred on the N7 edition's image.. The british guy could be Vega... He's a tough soldier like Vega is described...

The sniper has no confirmed role, just speculation. I like him better than Vega.

People assume that, being prominently featured in the teaser and the teaser screens released before the teaser, he is relevant to the game in some way.

because he has a badass voice, looks cool and is the first goddamn thing we saw about ME3. he also has a frickin' good one-liner : ''there won't be an Earth left to save''.

I don't want to be disappointed if the British guy keeps narrating and doesn't appear at all. Personally I hope he is DLC like Zaeed.

 Maybe the guy we saw in the trailer was James Vega himself (most likely an early version of him they scrapped). But we have seen some pictures of someone who can really only be James Vega. We know he's pretty big and that he carries a sniper rifle. Hmm carries a sniper rifle. Coincidence much?

Also if the guy is "unimportant" why is he speaking in the trailer of all things? Every trailer for the Mass Effect games features the voices of the major characters. In ME1 it was Anderson and Saren. In ME2 it was the Illusive Man mostly.

How does this random dude know who Shepard is? Or that Shepard tried to warn us? Or that Shepard's the only who can help? The dude you've been hearing is James Vega. Unless they've changed VAs there is no doubt in my mind that we have actually heard from James already. Wasn't it odd they showed James Vega, but he was totally silent? What other character could possibly be comment on the Reaper Invasion. Bioware likes to tease a lot, I think mostly to fool the "Oh-no-spoilers!" crowd. Seriously some people need to ligthen up on that whole debacle.

A real spoiler is knowing Darth Vader is Luke's Father, not that Luke goes to Bespin in Episode 5 geez.

Anyways I'm pretty the Big Ben Sniper is as much James Vega as the Geth we saw in ME2's teaser trailer is Legion. The look will likely change a little a bit, but it is who it is. Bioware can say I'm wrong, but unless I see evidence otherwise I do not believe.

I know Fishnchips =/= Vega, but I hope the narrator is at least Vega's voice. I mean, it never actually comes out of Fishnchips' mouth...Plus it's smexy

Love the way you ended this. Could be an earlier version... but if it is I hope they pull an Infamous 2 and change him back. I liked that version better than this one.
