Is there a video of the scene where he gets his ass kicked by a Reaper as he tries to escape on a ship?

Yeah, you would like to see a kid's ass, wouldn't you?

For some reason I thought that this thread was about the ''you people are blind'' thread. :)

This bugs me as well.
BioWare: "Hey let's show part of the demo to the public to get them hyped and worried about the kid but we should also allow the press to see the whole thing and then explain his fate day later for some reason"
Me: "lolwut?"

Yeah I know theres always gonna be spoliers in marketing. But c'mon. This could have been a truly heartbreaking scene but know I'll be sitting there going "Oh yeah this is that part where the kid dies.

Anyway I'm just ranting as usual.

OT: I haven't seen it but it will likley be revealed soon like all stuff shown to the press first.

He's probably going to end up like the red coat girl from Schindler's List, we'll find his corpse when we return to earth

I think it might have been in the Fall of Earth trailer.

I'm not sure if they actually showed us a video of it. There was an article with the reviewer talking about it.

Yes, he dies. In an extended demo which most people didn't see, you see him entering a shuttle and then a reaper blowing it up.

You know that part in the Earth trailer that shows the two ships getting blown up by that Reaper?

That's most likely it.

Was it really necessary to make a scene where a kid dies? Feels like a faux pas

IDK, It's a way of showing part of the more human, real, side of things that would happen in an invasion of earth by a super advanced civilization, which is a topic usually treated in less emotionally-hard hitting way. I also like the new invasion trailer, real actors and such, it's a cool way of presenting the story.

Still hoping it's a placeholder and that the kind in fact is a sign of PTSD or mild indoctrination on Shepard's part. Would explain that awful piece of DLC, know as Arrival.

They can't show us Miranda's boobs or Kaidan's arse but a child's death is okay to add realism. There's something wrong about this approach

Maybe he will go all 'home alone' on the reapers and aid Shepard on his mission.

A succefully saved and (immediately or in a couple of missions) returned to his parents kid - this could be a good and positively emotional move.  But not a dead kid. Never thought I'd want content removed from Mass Effect.

Young "Ani" was also suppoused to bring 'emotions'. Kids rarely work in such material, most of the time they come off cheesy as hell.

Ah, but did you see the body? You know how it is: no body found - 100% chance he'll return =)

Millions of dead kids with a Reaper invasion anyway. You just don't want to see his ship hit.
