Okay, the 'headline' for the Japanese news report says something along the lines of 'Possibility (or potential) that defending ships were crushed (obliterated)'

The subheading is something about colonies, it's a bit harder to see. I'll edit this post when I can translate the kanji.

Why would anyone attack Adelaide?

Edinburgh Air Force Base is obviously a military target and DSTO (even if its mostly civilians) would be a military target too. Hard to say what they would be like in 150 years but its possible to extrapolate they might be important.

Also possible to suggest that the increased wins in millitary manufacturing such as Submarines in recent years had a roll on affect in future years.

Not to mention the Reapers hate Port Power.

50secs. It's a slow process because I'm having to handwrite the characters with a mouse, I can't read most of them.

50secs. It's a slow process because I'm having to handwrite the characters with a mouse, I can't read most of them.

By the sound of it he is and I'm not sure how the heck you would hide that many ships but I'm going to venture a guess that they are also counting each fighter as a ship, then the numbers being in the thousands would make a little more sense. Unless they started to build at breakneck speed after ME1 how the Alliance got that many ships is beyond me not enough info. out just yet.

The other news ticker on the 50sec Japanese news said "We should take every conceivable emergency measure" (that's in quotation marks, possibly an order?)

Edit: The 1minute-mark news item is the same as the other one, but the news ticker has the first part of the 'communication system' story that was obscured before. I'll try and get it...
