 Is it just me, or do the noises that the reapers make sound extremely awesome!!  I honestly can't wait to have them blasting through my surround sound!

Yeah, they were awesome. I don't remember Sovereign ever making those sounds. Then again, it could just be my ****ty memory.

They remind me of the noise made by the invading aliens in the War of the World films. A noise that could be heard for miles and sent a shiver down the spine.

I think that might be the indoctrination sound, the one the colonists on Eden Prime were complaining about being so loud it made their teeth rattle and left them unable to think clearly (which was obviously the indoctrination part)

So yes, hopefully they will make that sound--and it seems like they should.

 Yeah the Reaper sounds are awesome.  

I also like how there integrating the music in difference scenes. My favourite was the demo for the geth base and the Reaper walker thing (dunno if there gonna come up with a nickname for those smaller Reapers) get's shot from the fleet orbiting the planet and then get's back up and start closing in on Shepard, the music combined with the Reaper closing in made me OMG the first time I saw it.

The moment when that Reaper landed on Anderson and Shep - I mean, ALMOST landed on them, the sound was awfully like from the Terminator movies or something. But gotta admit that the effect was awesome, can't even imagine what it will be like on epic bass...

Yeah, I've had chills when I heard Reaper noise for the first time on Earth in ME3.

Lol, didn't thought anybody would create a thread upon this. But, yeah, these sounds are great. I also love them. The human-reaper has been making the same noise like the crawfishes. I guess it's characteristical for the reaper's super-advanced mechanisms, made of incredibly strong and fully corrosion-proof iron.

I loved the sound of the Reapers, although I was little struck by how that specific reaper on the ground shown in the demo looked like a Halo Scarab.

Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely love what Bioware is doing with Mass Effect 3 and I'm sure Bioware will stick to their design of varying Reaper Models.

Admittedly i think the camera angles in each game have alot to do with the similarities.

Probably. They're still slightly similar.

I think it was in the special edition of Mass Effect. There was a making of "Sounds of the game". And the sound of Sovereign was someone opening and closing a dumpster and played around with a little.
