In all seriousness, tastes differ. What you see as insignificant, others may think of as an important part of the game they don't want to see gone or they really want to have (back). Voicing what you like or dislike about the game(s), what you're hoping for and what your concerns are is a big part of what these forums are about. At least, that's how I see it. ^^

The problem is that most of it isn't constructive criticism, its just "i don't like this" followed by whining about pandering or how stupid it is, rather than saying "i don't like this" then having a reasonable discussion about how the features wouldn't be very good or how something else would work betterNashiktal wrote...
Why shouldn't people voice what they dislike? Should they buy things they don't like? How is Bioware to grow without criticism?

I think people whining about a game that is nine months from hitting the shelves is silly.
You do realize this is the best time to 'whine'? There's still time to tweak some things, in a few months that window will close and we'll just have to deal with what we have.
Which is going to be ****g great!! However if commenting on the things we dislike/like can improve it further then why not?
Instead of whining about the whiners and being totally counter productive, why not make positive threads about things are liking about the game so far?

I don't mind anyone complaining about anything they don't like, there's always going to be something about the game someone won't find appealing. As long as they give a valid reason for why they think something's bad, I don't see the harm in bringing it up.
Yeah this would be fine, but it's almost never the case with most of the people on this board. It's always a bunch of doomsayers yelling and screaming at bioware for selling out

Truth be told that "whining" is necessary for game developers to improve their games. Not everybody likes to see "whining", but it's necessary whether people like it or not. I don't like to see discrepancies that people have about features that don't need changing in my opinion, but my opinion is only my opinion and it's the developers right to choose the best decisions that make the game enjoyable for the masses not the minority. Adios y gracias.

I know what you mean, which is why I try to avoid posting in those types of threads in the hopes of them dying faster.
OP, I know where you're coming from, but I think you should elaborate a little more. Everyone has a right to voice their opinion, just as long as they aren't like what dcrypt described.

Or maybe this thing you think is 'tiny' is actually quite an annoying issue for them.DonDaMon wrote...
this thread was to show you guys how much the whining has gone rampant, its not even constructive critism at this point, everyone is trying hard to find just some really tiny thing they dont like
E.g) I really hate Bioware's recent 'Rule of Cool' approach to companion's armours. Yes it might not bother others but I find it incredibly annoying.

Some of the concerns about how a hologram is meant to solidify into something capable of piercing armour seem valid to me. If you are requesting that all posters be articulate and restrained in their complaints that seems unfair, given not being able to articulate one's self is no reason not to post this is the internet accept it. How exactly are things meant to improve with criticism? Yes you'll get annoying nonsensical complaints but that's just how it is.

If I could b*tchslap all the people I wanted to I'd need several sets of hands.
