So, if I heard correctly. In the demo you're at a Geth base, fighting Cerberus and that reaper on the ground. So here's my question - Are Geth in collusion with the Reapers, even after what happens in Legion's loyalty mission? If so, why is Legion still helping you out even though he's still hooked up to the Geth "memory share". If not, then was that base abandoned?
Just curious.
What's with the Geth?

It looks like the mission may take place on a geth-controlled planet that was attacked by the Reapers.
Given that the Migrant Fleet was in orbit, it might even have been Rannoch (the former quarian homeworld).
We don't really know yet about the allegiance of the geth in ME3. It's entirely possible that the decisions you make as to how to solve the geth/quarian conflict could turn the geth against Shepard. Who knows?

Plus i'm sure there were more heretic geth than JUST the ones Legion and Co. Took out.

Could be a virus? Could be some heretics survived? Could be that the dialogue changes, it's been said that the lines aren't finalised yet.

Well we've seen a video of gameplay (just a bunch of combat clips) that had Shepard killing Geth so I don't know.
I wonder if indoctrination works on AI like the Geth?
EDIT: I'm interested in actually being able to talk to more friendly Geth in ME 3, according to Legion there are Geth that actually don't hate the Quarians or Shepard or any other races.

We also don't know what the universe looked like with the carry over save.
Its entirely possible they kept legion alive without doing his loyalty...its entirely possibly that in that version of the game, legion wasn't alive. There are too many variables, and its open to speculation.
So too hard to nut down a singular explanation as of yet.

For the demo purposes, they wouldnt be using imported saves, but just a new game with "canon" decisions. Given that canon seems be to rather renegade, then chances are that the decision was made to destroy the geth base during legions loyalty mission (or hand legion to cerberus), instead of rewriting the heretic geth. This would mean that there are still heretic geth out there in the galaxy using a canon playthrough, and hence in the demo.

Legion can disconnect from the Geth database to act alone. The Reapers might have hacked them seeing how much more advanced they are.

What if you gave Legion to Cerberus in ME2 instead of letting him become one of your squadmates? I think it would be cool if this had some impact in ME3 like Cerberus has some Geth super soldiers in their ranks or something.
