Sorry but I'm still waiting for that franchise to have new game.
Every single one of them are just Halo 1 with improved graphics.
If it aint broke don't change it
And theyve done stuff to liven up the game and change it over the years, keeps it fresh
And for some reason EA Sports are hated more for doing the same thing over and over again.

Oh that.
I doubt it.
ME3 is most anticipated game, at least on E3 day 1.

Never to old to start Halo and the Developers of Assassin's Creed say the new one will tie up things between Brotherhood and AC3. So no, Revelations wont be the end of the story sadly.DieHigh2012 wrote...
I wish I had played the Halo series, as it stands I figure that I'm way to far behind to start now.
Anyway the games I am looking forward to are the new Assassin's Creed (They better finish it this time) and ME3.
Of course ME3 is number one.
I have friends that swear by Halo, but that's only for the multiplayer aspect. I have yet hear anything good or bad about the story, and that's what matters to me. The last shooter I liked playing online was CoD2 (back when it was still set in WW2), all the modern warfare stuff sucks IMHO.
That sucks about AC, I reckon it's time to step out of the Animus and fight the Templars in modern times. However I am only a single lowly gamer. =(
Well World at War( WW2) and Black Ops( mid-Cold War) aren't set in modern times.

And with the new and improved "AWESOME OMNI-BLADE YEAH YEAH YEAH! NEW IMPROVED FASTER CLOSE ACTION! YEAH WE ARE AWESOMEZ!" which I feel Mass Effect 3 may end up like.. It (To me) mirrors the Energy Sword from Halo..

No doubt. It definitely gets my vote for GOTY. Still gonna enjoy Halo 4 though.Mesina2 wrote...

I didn't know that. However (and really hope I don't ****** anyone off here) I don't think I'd want to deal with the online player base.

Meh, Halo 4 looks like Halo 1.. Again.. As it picks up where Halo 3 finished which is where I thought Halo 1 started, so Halo 4 would in turn be the tiny part before Halo 1, or would be Halo 1 with a different begining..

Are you talking about the Halo remake? because that is the only one that looks like Halo 1. Halo 4 is different.

If it gets pushed off, it will be for another year. And of course ME3 will get game of the year.
Bioshock Infinite will be a contender for that throne because of just what you said about being an all encompassing experience.

^ This.
Mass Effect 3 is looking to be incredible, but at this point we have two GOTY-winning contenders competing with each other. And in some ways, I can see Bioshock having a wider appeal than Mass Effect.

Who else is absolutely sick of Halo and everything Halo related? Cause I am. Besides ME and Halo are two completely different games and who cares if a bunch of ten year olds vote to help Halo win awards. The developers are the people who know which game is better.
If you don't care about Halo whatsoever, why are you even posting? Why do you insult the Halo fan base (which includes me).

Eh, don't worry about. I think I'm being a little sensitive, to be honest.

Nah, Bioshock is quite niche. While the game may certainly be better (or not), it won't sell better than what has essentially become a mainstream series.Il Divo wrote...

As for Mass 3 versus Halo 4, I will probably buy and enjoy both. At the moment, I'm actually more interested in the latter, as the massively changing the tone each entry BioWare has going on is growing old, whereas Halo maintained a familiar atmosphere throughout the series so far. Also, I'm rather curious which direction 343 will take the games in.

I think I may be a little bias because I have tried to play Halo but I keep getting my ass kicked online. lol So I can never really get into the game.

No, I'm okay with consoles. But on average, most people that own consoles are obnoxious kids. Not all, but on average.
And Halo sucks because to me, it's more cartoony/fantasy sci-fi than real sci-fi. And the multiplayer absolutely kills any possibility of me taking the game seriously because of the mechanics.
No, it's not that I hate multiplayer shooters(big CoD fan)but Halo specificallu irks me. It's silly.
The enemies are also obnoxious, and I have trouble taking them seriously. Come on, little alien midgets with high-pitched voices running around? gimme a break.
And, much as how many people hate Tali because of how obscenely popular she is, I hate Halo because of how insanely popular and hyped-up it is, and frankly I don't think it deserves it's status as a legendary franchise.
Of course, this is just the opinion of a PC elitist, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm biased, and I am well aware of it.
