So, if you used Gibbs to do some editing of ME2 Shepard, can you still import without problems?

Why couldn't you? What have you edited specifically?

Unless mass Effect 3 uses a code that detects if you edited your safe file, i think you will be save.

It probably depends on what you edit. If you change some plot flags that contradict each other then you could certainly break something. If you simply give yourself some credits or resources then I seriously doubt it. I would back up your un-edited game just in case, regardless.

And anyway, we shouldn't need worry so much about resources and credits when the world is being annihilated.

All I did was edit my Paragon/Renegade scores and boosted my resources and credits.

I'm sure they'll be quick to release a patch if people's cheating causes them problems with an import.

Now THAT is definetely something to worry about. I seriously doubt this will go without problems.

And why 100+ Skillpoints anyway? You only need 70.

I edited my Shepard's eye color...I'll settle for a default color if need be, but I'm crossing my fingers that it will still work.

What if you gave your Shepard one of the non-accessible hairstyles, like Jentha's unique hairstyle?

I imagine it will work if the files exist in ME3. If those files don't exist or they are renamed, then no.

Anything that requires a custom texture is probably risky. But you probably just lose your hair, not your whole save game. Worse case scenario, you use gibbed to change it to a standard style before the import.

It's interesting because I thought of this waaay back when the editor was released. That's why I haven't modified a byte in the savegames which I'm planning to import.

Hmm...better stick to normal hair then, huh?

You people have nothing to worry about. I have. All my male-Sheps are gays. One with Garrus, one with Thane, 4 with Kaidan (imported from ME1 where Sheploo was edited to be a female, these worked flawlessly in ME2). I'm taking these imports with sporty attitude: I play first playthrough with a new Shepard to enjoy the story, after that I will import my edited gay-Sheps and let the frey begin!
