I wonder if he'll return? I sure hope so, it'd be weird if not, since it seemed so evident at the end of that DLC(if you let him go) that Shepard would find him again.

I hope so. During the fan Q&A with Casey Hudson, a fan asked whether the DLC of ME1 and ME2 will have an impact in ME3, and Casey completely avoided talk about the ME1 DLC.

He better show up. If not, he was just blowing smoke about that "Batarian Rebellion".

For shame, BioWare. :(

I remember telling him that I will find him eventually. Don't make Shepard a liar, BioWare. That bastard needs to be punished in some way.

A lot of us didn't kill him, and let him go to save the hostages. We want closure. However, I doubt BioWare will do it.

It would be a shame to end the series without Balak recieving a Shepard pawnch.

Ballak should get along with Shep just fine, since they are both terrorists now. lol The only difference is that Shepard succeeded, while Ballak failed and fled (in my game).

Unless he comes back as a Reaperized zombie then I dont think I will be seeing too much of him. I snuffed his ass out when I had the chance.

Talked to him the first time, let him go. Second time, though, I killed his ass. "A quick slave grab" huh?

One thing to keep in mind, is that it has been stated in many interviews now, that all characters who had an impact with your character(based on your decisions) from ME1 and ME2 will be in ME3 in some fashion. So with that in tow, it still seems probable that we'll get to give Balak the what for that bastard deserves. Hopefully.

Ballak survived the Bahak System incident to join Shepard's squad.

As long as they don't pull an ME2 emails system. *shivers*

You really need to look up the definition of a terrorist.

If he does return then he better either not be killable or kills one of your squadmembers, you had your chance to kill him, you shouldn't be able to have your cake and eat it too

I'm assuming the Normandy still has an airlock.

The save game editor for ME2 has a check mark for the Bring Down The Sky DLC... So it does in fact carry over. How big of a deal it is, we'll have to see.

No. It's called un-finished business.

Balak will send Shepard a troll email in ME3 and that will be all.

I think it's only carried over if you let Balak go. If you kill him/capture him nothing seems to carry over unfortunately.

You hear a news report about the hostages that died in that case.

Not exactly a whirlwind of exciting consequences, but it's there.
