So we know that Shepard needs help of the other races to take on the Reapers. What races do you think would be of much help?
Krogans seem to want to fight, the bigger the better. They are strong, brutual, but seem to lack intelligence. If you can take away that one flaw, they seem like a great canidate to recruit.
Salarians are good, especially if you played ME1 and listened to Mordin, you know about the Special Tasks Group. Salarians make like size and strength, but they are good for espionage and gathering intel.
Asari are amazing because of their biotic abilities and intelligence.
I have tons more, but those three in my opinion seem like they could be the biggest help in taking down the Reapers.. Also, not saying I'm going to play the game only trying to gather their support. It's just equivalent to a sports caster saying LeBron will be the factor in the next game.

We'll need the help of an ancient race. Krogans can't headbutt a Reaper. Maybe the entire Krogan population simultaneously headbutting a Reaper might bring it down. Salarians and Rachni are too squishy. Not much help there when a giant Reaper claw crushes them. The Asari will be too busy pleasing customers. Maybe they could seduce a couple of Reapers onto the 'good' side. Quarians won't risk their homes to fight metal cuttlefish. A single Reaper can easily wipe out the fleet. Only the Geth are capable of fighting back.
