Im guessing that Techs will have the ability to increase the melee damage of the Omni Blade.

Thoughts On This?

Techs don't get Omni Blade. Engineers have FIRE PUNCH from Pokemon. Seriously! Apparently it's a point blank incinerate that burns the victim to death. Infiltrators probably get a cool Sam Fisher/Solid Snake neck snap

Would be cool if infiltrators actually got a sabotage-like melee attack that would break shields and overload weapons on human enemies, and self destruct synthetics after a few seconds.

Engineers could fully hack synthetics with their melee attack,

Each class gets the omniblade, apparently.  It's the "heavy melee" attack that's class-specific.

Everything I've read suggests that the omni-blade IS the soldier's heavy attack and that the classes' light attacks are regular unarmed strikes.

I head somewhere (it was either the EA Q&A or the Gamespot thing) where the guy said that what we've shown is the Soldier's Omni-Blade and that each class's Omni-Blade will look different. I think he said something along the lines of "Th vanguard's Omni-Blade will look different to this one."
