I'm just basing this off of the E3 footage and images I've seen of Mordin, Liara, and Ashley/Kaidan, but so far it looks like these characters are just going to have their default appearances for ME3.  I want to be able to do more than have one or two color schemes for my squadmates' outfits.  I was hoping that I would be able to outfit them with ARMOR when appropriate but so far I've seen nothing to allay my fears.  Does anyone have any info that I'm somehow missing?!? I'm still holding out hope....  :?

Wait for more info. Don't hold your breath on customizable armor making a come back though. At least the powers/abilities system looks deeper than just plonk a point to make it 1% better (M1).

I don't suppose anything is final yet so we'll just have to wait and see. With the alternate appearance packs and what not there might be some more fun stuff. I wouldn't be opposed to squad armor customization. I think it would be kind of rad actually, but if it's not there, that's okay too.

to early to tell at this point, there will be alternate appreance packs though, so I guess you'll have that if nothing else, but I would just wait and see what happens as the release date gets closer. I would love to be able to customize armor for my team but if its the same as ME2 I'm fine with that as well, personally I'm more interested in storyline, game mechanics and character development.

I'm really NOT fine with bare skin in vacuum, prostitute clothing in combat, and some kind of see through breathing apparatus a toxic atmosphere. I'm VERY excited about the game and what has been shown so far (ie cover system and stealthiness), but I don't think it's too much to ask for some believability. Shepard and Garrus are the only ones going into combat valuing their lives? I don't see any real world snake eaters in real world combat theaters wearing shorts and a pair of flip flops while putting rounds down range. That's kind of an extreme analogy but I think you get the picture. The story in ME3 is a fight for the fate of the galaxy...for all the marbles. I guess our crew will be more concerned with looking good than surviving.

Sadly there won't be modular customisation for squadmates (which would be awesome) since an alternate appearance pack has already been announced.

Great.  Hopefully Bioware releases some new material soon to temper my disappointment.  :(  I want to get some tidbits on how the Alliance has changed the SR2.

The colors and Alliance logo on SR2 are a HUUUUUGE improvement over the Cerberus scheme. I hated working for Cerberus and can't wait to be back with the Alliance, in an Alliance frigate. Are we going to be able to buy one of these models? If so, I hope the finalized version would have some more subtle panel lines. This one almost looks like it's made of lego!

Hey, you never know. Bioware may be generous and ship ME3 with THREE(!) clothing schemes for our squadmates ;)
