Any hints on how the Kaiden/Ashley romance subplots are going to continue in ME3?

Liara's is still going strong. Unlike humans, 2 years isn't very long for an asari, so she was more than willing to wait for beloved Shep. Also, unlike Kaiden/Ashley who were totally oblivious to everything, Liara was actually the main person responsible for Shepard's resurrection. In other words, she understood, unlike them, because she actually knew all about everything that had happened and what was going on. God I LOVE her. <3

But what's going to happen with the other two? I mean, that brief reunion on Horizon didn't go very well at all. In fact, it couldn't have gone much worse. They blame Shepard for everything that's wrong in the world and disown them for being traitors for Cerberus (even if Shepard is only pretending to work with them to get at their resources and has every intention of betraying them in the end). And then turn their backs and storm off. Ouch.

And then to add insult to injury, we find out he/she has gotten involved with someone else since the original Normandy went kaboom. I guess it's true what they say, absence makes the heart go yonder....

So how is Kaiden/Ashley's romance arc going to continue after that?

hopefully its not all ultra lovey dovey, and its a bit more real and raw. hell i wanna get in a screaming fight with ashley that results in hatesex.

No ones knows yet. They might talk about in the weeks following E3.

Liara and Feron made it pretty clear they weren't romantically involved. And you can never look too deep into these things. There's nothing wrong with wanting a romance to play out realistically.

But it still wouldn't have happened without her, if she hadn't taken huge risks and done what she did the Collectors would have gotten Shepard's remains, which probably would have ultimately been ejected into a wormhole once they were done with it...

Liara understands, and sure Liara may have stronger feelings for Shepard regardless of your LI. But she made it clear she moved on, that we were dead.

Initially, after Horizon I was pretty ticked off at Kaidan. So I moved on to other romance choices without a second thought (I've had two female shep playthroughs and romaced Garrus and Thane). But now with ME3 coming and all these promises your romance choices coming to a head I actually am starting to feel kind of guilty. I look at it like this...

When you died It probably hit Kaidan pretty hard, to lose you like that after you had made it through much tougher odds together. He morned for a couple years and was just starting to let himself get over you and then BAM! you waltz in and save the day like it aint no thing. And what do you say to him?
"Hey Kaidan, how've you been?"
Of course he was furious, for all he knows you've been alive and well for years and you didn't even try to contact him once? Maybe he over reacted a bit, but it probably came from a place of hurt not malice. And his e-mail to you after Horizon made it clear that he still has feelings for you, and hinted that he might like to try and patch things up later.
Then what does Shepard do? Turns around a hooks up with an alien (probably most hurtful if it's Garrus) or a man who turned his back on the Aliance to join Cerberus. If you don't feel at least a little bad for him then you have no heart.

Plus he's looking super hot in the images Bioware has posted, which doesn't help.

Note: I've never had a shep that romanced Ashley, so I don't know how she reacts but imagine her circumstances can't be much different.

Sure, the ends might have justified the means in this scenario...

But still, she gave Shepard's remains to Cerberus, despite having experienced firt-hand their sick and twisted experiments in ME1. Maybe I'm just one of the few that felt betrayed because of this.

In his post Horizon email, Kaidan says he went out with some doctor but it was apparently just drinks and was kinda forced on him by friends. Ash doesn't mention going out with anyone in her email.

Yerz. Ouch. Almost like that chick from DAO dumping you on your wedding day, when she should be sucking your **** for saving her from being gang raped by a bunch of humans, saying "wardens can't have wives or families" which is a complete and utter LIE since you later meet a number of married Wardens with "families" (and another origin can even lead to the Warden themself getting married at the end). Then that lying dirty **** hauls balls out of there, squanders your father's hard earned money to go home and she's never seen again. Great.

Sometimes Bioware likes to deliver hard player punches.

Kaidan mentioned he was starting seeing some Dr. on the Citadel.  Ash, I am not sure, but I don't think so.  Both mentioned in their message to Shepard they were sorry for what was said on Horizon and both still care for Shepard and couldn't bear to lose Shepard a second time.

I don't know. I just want to troll the s--t out of Kaidan when he comes asking for forgiveness.


However, I imagine the 'healing' will take over several conversations, with both Shepard and the V/S taking the option to think about things before starting all over.

You said you never romanced Ash, so here is a link to the Wikia on her character page that has the message she sent Shepard.
