Garrus had better damn well have as much dialogue in ME3 as Tali did in Me2 (she had the overwhelmingly most dialogue of any character in the game... not a complaint, but she had astronomically more dialogue than Garrus).

I really hope Bioware doesn't treat Garrus like a DLC character again in ME3 (he had about as much as Kasumi / Zaeed in ME2

Garrus and Legion where ment to be a secret so of course he got none, Kaidan is not secret and he has got hardly any coverage, so people asking for more Kaidan and then Garrus fans jumping on them is not fair, more so when Kaidan was not even a squadmate in ME2 and Garrus was.

Tali had an incredible amount of dialogue in ME1, even. I bet the most from that first squad.

Tali had four conversations in ME, less then Ashley, Wrex, Kaidan and Garrus.

Unfortunately true. Garrus and Liara are good solid characters to market off of. Garrus was the top squadmate from ME2 according to Bioware, and Liara is a guaranteed character for every game. [And a popular romance option for both genders of Shepard] In addition, Garrus and Liara already have their models done, and their voice actors have at least started recording.

Press generally does not seem to like Kaidan [just listen to some of the jokes cracked during E3.] But fans of mass effect do like him. I think we'll see more of Kaidan in the Femshep trailer, and probably more going in as more voiceacting and models are complete. We're still a LONG way off from ME3.

Edit: Also worth noting that all these 'new screenshots' are all from the demo[s], where Garrus and Liara happen to be the selectable companions. In fact, we don't even know [that I'm aware], that any other companions can even be selected for those missions yet on the demo mode.

Kaidan has one of the official screenshots and he was the first companion (along with Liara I guess) to be confirmed. Hold your horses, the hype machine has only started up.

Though Casey did sort of mention in one of the demos that Kaidan was a very unpopular character and most people chose Ashley as their VS. Unless they are really going to play up the FemShep coverage, I doubt you're going to see much of Kaidan (seeing as Sheploo is the poster image and all). I am fully aware as to why Garrus and Legion were kept secret, was simply pointing out that it's nice they are getting some attention now (Legion got to be in one of the demos too) since they ARE popular characters and more people want to see them than want to see Kaidan. I'm not hating on Kaidan but it's hard to argue with statistics.
