CE DLC Code trouble

So I just picked up a collectors edition of ME2 for a great price and it still had the collectors edition gun and armor. It says I have to go to Masseffect.com and redeem the code. But when I click the redeem code bar at the top of the home page I get the 404 Error page not found crap and it says Dragon Age in the browser head.  Any help as to way around this or what I should do?

Hm...couldn't have been easy picking up the Collectors' Edition after so long, so the first thing which springs to mind is whether it is new. (If not then you run the risk of the codes being redeemed.)

If it is, then it could just be a webpage problem. Mind you, check your registered game promo page to see if the dlcs are registered to your account.

If they aren't and the page still isn't working (I assume you also got the Cerberus Network with it as well; in which case did that redeem correctly?) then you'll have to contact EA support to resolve the issue.

i got the collectors edition of mass effect 2 ( brand new! wraped up ) today and i noticed that there was no collector armour code, i am very upset because the main reason i got it was for that DLC. help, what do i do?. please reply thanks

In such cases that you didn't get what you should have then refer to the above link to EA support and explain to them the situation. They should then be able to activate it in some way for you pending satisfactory conditions I would imagine.

If you have proof of purchase that the Collectors' Edition you had is new, then I would suggest you persist with it. Otherwise they would have had an item sold by a vendor that was not as described (which I am sure is likely to be contrary to most consumer laws in any country).

Something like that, yes, especially if it is itemized and states clearly what you bought. Otherwise they are just fobbing you off and denying something that you are legally entitled to (under the assumption that the dlc does not have an expiry date of course).

In order to assist you, please send us the scan copy of the purchase receipt and the Disc.

Depends what you asked. If you asked about the disc replacement service that I mentioned then it seems to be straightforward enough: scan your receipt and send that back with the disc(s).

I believe that is what they are requesting you to do. Again, this is premised on the assumption that they are responding to your request for a replacement disc.

EDIT: sorry about the above reply; getting confused with an issue on the DAO boards. But hey, at least the issue seems to have been resolved (see below).
