So now that Liara is back in ME3 who looking after the Shadow Broker base? I mean in Lair of the Shadowbroker she made it pretty clear she wanted to stay behind and help Shepard. So why the sudden change of mind? Also we know that she is the SB though.

Maybe she wants to help Shepard unveil those Prothean devices/artifacts that might help them fight the Reapers.

Maybe she trusts Feron enough to continue maintaining operations during this conflict while she goes off to lead the fight on the Normandy.

What I'd like to see is that the Normandy now has QEC setup between it and the SB Base so she can tap into her network from the ship.

Liara's importance in ME3:

1.) Taking it
2.) Taking it
3.) Taking it
4.) Taking it

Etc. Etc..

I'm guessing she was forced to leave the base. Doesn't seem like there is much point in just leaving Feron behind to do it, otherwise she would likely already have done so.

Cerberus knows the location of the SB base, and TIM knows about Liara acting as SB...and Cerberus is our enemy now. Maybe they attacked her ship?

...or Feron and the drone take over as Shadow Broker for a while.

Reapers know the location of the SB base? When was that previously established?

Maybe she just wants to be with Shepard?

I hope there's a 'what the hell were you thinking' option- Liara is much more valuable as the Shadow Broker.

Unless her base got blown to hell, in which case her being there makes sense.

TIM knows the location of the SB base (LOTSB "mission complete" screen), not the reapers. But if TIM is indoctrinated...

Or maybe she's somehow able to maintain communications remotely through the Normandy. Travel with Shep and still fulfill SB duties.

I think Liara helping Shep from the Shadow Broker base was only meant to be help with the ME2 mission. Not the ME3 mission...

Remember, the LOTSB mission is available just halfway through ME2, and when you complete it you get weapon upgrades and mineral caches etc. from the base for your suicide mission...

People are confused because they probably all played it after defeating the Collectors...

Plus, ME3 takes place 6-12 months after the conclusion of ME2...

I imagine she will still be in contact with her network on a constant basis and that she will continualy feeding shepard with info about reaper fleet movements and possible leads to combat them. I am hoping that there will be some sort of war room set up in the normandy and that is where you will find her when you are on the ship

I think that Cerberus goes after her, to be quite honest.  TIM does know she is the Shadow Broker, which won't be a good thing.

Both LotSB and Arrival were meant to be played after the suicide mission.  I wish neither one of those DLC showed up until then actually.  Playing Arrival before the SM makes no sense to me at all.

Good point another reason I am looking forward to that final confronation with TIM, only question is who I take with me between, Jack, Tali, and every alien for that matter everyone is going to want a piece of him.

Or maybe, just MAYBE, I dunno, she allowed Feron to take over, having in mind he was an information broker LONG before she ever was. Just thinking aloud here.

-Cerberus after her
-Destroyed Base, exposed role as SB
-Feron taking over
-remote contact with Base while on Normandy

Any of those. I prefer the last two.

She has to play a huge role in the game

Why?

She is the only companion of ME1 and ME2 that cannot be killed
everyone else can besides her
