I think it would be cool to have something like this on ME3,
like you had in ME1 aka Pinnicale Station, but this time
its endless ways of collectors, husk, cerberus juggernauts,
cannibals, geth, every known enemy in the game.

Except make this Gauntlet a survival mode that you can play on
with your shepard that you played through the storyline with along
with every NPC on your team.

:devil:Gauntlet = Hell Yea

So what do yall think about this?

Wait, wait. I never played Pinnacle Station. So it's basically like Horde from Gears of War and Firefight from Halo 3: ODST/Halo Reach?

yes like firefight, and horde mode. firefight was better than horde mode IMO.

That sounds amazing. Bring on Gauntlet.

And I agree, Firefight is much better.

I wanted this as DLC for ME2. So put me down in favor of it for ME3.

Without the ability to play with your friends it just wouldn't be as fun as Horde or Firefight. I would probably grow tired of it quickly. Now if they made it so you and 2 other ME3 players could play this mode together as your Shepards then it would awesome since there's so much variation between the classes.

This post is going to get locked when Javier gets here. :P
Change it to "ME franchise" instead of ME3.

Why? ME uses 3-man squads, not 2-man.

This is really the only way for multiplayer to work in mass effect IMO. Well, you could have competitive objective type games I suppose. First yeam to kill a pre-determined number of enemies or something where the challenge isn't combat with the other team.

I digress. In regard to a gauntlet mode, it might be neccesary to restrict players to each having a different class. Three or more vanguards charging around the map would become a one-horse-show really fast. Forcing players to choose sperate classes, or randomize between waves, would compel players to use more teamwork.

Also, having specific enemies that can only be taken down by a specific attack type could work well. So, having an enemy that is immune to anything but tech attacks would mean the tech class player has to attack first in order to make it vulnerable. Better yet, have bosses that require
power combos and teamwork that cannot be acheived by one or two
players alone.

Anyway, those are my thoughts on the matter.
