I bet TIM has a few tricks up his sleeve and whoever you take with you has to be rescued later. So I dread my first blind playthrough not knowing whats going to happen and you should too.

That is part of the fun of a first playthrough:)  In my first ever run in ME 1 I left Virmire having two less people with me than I had when I arrived on virmire.

Meh, I really hope they don't cop out with making TIM the obvious villain. If it does come to him being behind the Cerberus attack of wanting us dead I'd much rather him fall into the Saren category only this time redeem himself somehow.

Liara for sure, because I want to see the Illusive Man vs the Shadow Broker. Maybe Miranda if she's a squadmate, but it depends on her feelings toward Cerberus in the game. If she's conflicted, then no, but if she hates them, then yes. But even then, TIM might try to manipulate her, so Grunt or Garrus might be a safer bet. Definitely not Jack. I know she hates Cerberus, but she's unstable.

If I can bring whomever I want, Garrus and Thane. Because I bring them everywhere and we have good battle synergy.

If not, Tali and Garrus. Just like old times. And because I'm guessing they're going to be the only squaddies I bother with in ME3.

I figure with all the crap cerberus has put her through and the years they stole from her life that Jack deserves the chance to take cerberus out herself if given the opportunity.  I will not deny her that.

Yeah to me Jack is the most obvious choice, Tali is the second most obvious because of what happened in Ascension with the quarians (basicaly like a home invasion since the fleet is their home) but they didn't attack her personaly though I am sure she took it personal.  With Jack it was personal, if you read her lotsb dossier they stole her from her parents when she was a child.  In my opinion that organization needs to be destroyed period, and anyone that was a part of that organization at a high level at the least deserves prison time, that includes Mireanda, of course when I am talking about part of the orginization at a high level I am not referring to everyone since some grunts at lower levels were probably kept in the dark.

I'm still not convinced that the Illusive Man is indoctrinated. Yes, I am aware that in one of the demos Casey mentioned that he is behind Cerberus' actions, but personally, his statement sounded like a dodge.

Nonetheless, if he has turned, and there was a chance to confront him I would definitely take Jack, to let her have a little revenge of her own, considering all that Cerberus has done to her.

Miranda - Because I'd like her to fight her ex-boss. It's something epic to fight someone who you once trusted, but have lost trust in because of something so stupid

Liara - Because her knowledge of Cerberus as Shadowbroker is unsurpasses plus she had some relations with Cerberus back when Shepard was dead. P.S. Liara's my honey baby. I want her with me almost every mission. Her biotics really come in handy as well
