I'm coming to the end of an ME2 playthrough and I want to maximise my Legion time without getting anyone killed. How many missions can I do between getting the IFF and unlocking the suicide mission? The only one I've done before was Legion's loyalty mission is that the only one you can do before it unlocks or is it just the last one? I want to take him on Overlord or maybe LOTSB (might cause a fuss on Illium, I don't know, I don't think I've ever taken Legion anywhere near civilisation) but it won't make much sense for this Shepard to do Overlord after the SM.

Does anyone know?

I just did both Tali and Legion's Loyalty missions before the crew gets abducted. Just Activate Legion after the Reaper IFF mission, but don't talk to it about its loyalty mission until after your'e done with whatever missions you have to do. And remember to keep backup saves in case the crew gets abducted before your'e ready to do the Suicide Mission.

You can only do Legion's loyalty mission after getting the Reaper IFF. Once the Normandy crew is taken you have to go straight into the Suicide Mission. If you don't, they all die except Chakwas. Kind of sucks I know. I just waited until after the Suicide Mission and took Legion with me on Overlord and LOTSB. I'm considering doing a playthrough where I go get the IFF right away and then do all the other missions. I just want to hear more Legion dialogue without going to YouTube. Why did such an awesome character have to appear at the end of the game? Why couldn't they have kept the idea of getting him earlier on? :c

I always do Overlord after the Suicide Mission for the sole purpose of bringing Legion.

Same. I use Legion on every N7 mission. It might be a bit of an obsession.

You're not alone. I never do any of the side missions until after the Suicide Mission solely so I can bring Legion. Like I said in a previous post, I'm going to do a renegade playthrough where I get the IFF right away. Sorry Normandy crew, I want a hand's on experience with Legion in other missions.

Yes you can, I play on Xbox too. Its actually really easy, I suggest you check out the thread in the ME2 section.
