i see no reason why legion wouldnt see himself as shepards sidekick and a part of the normandy. besides LI, legion would be the easiest to see staying with shepard throughout. for the same reason conrad vernor would never leave shepards side. it just so happens legion is designed to be a perfect soldier, and a perfect squadmate.

in the MEuniverse, legion and grunt are probably the two best soldiers in the entire galaxy, other then shepard and a small few others. not saying zaeed or garrus arent awesome, its just that grunts a god damned pure bred krogan, and legion is a super advanced AI, both perfect for ground assault.

if legion isnt a squadmate in ME3, then i see no reason to have bumped into him in ME3. or maybe this vega guy wont be a stereotypical big tough guy ive seen a hundred times and hell be worth the replacement, but i highly doubt it.

i want data, not vega.

I agree with most of what you said, Mr Troll. I don't agree about Grunt though. There's a difference between bloodlust and battlelust. The former is not something you ever want to see in a soldier.. someone who kills simply because they can. A soldier is much more controlled then that.
But thats not what this thread is about, and is also my humble opinion.

Legion, on the other hand.... would be a perfect companion for Shepard. *she says as she writes Legion/FemShep fanfic*

@SkyeHawk, I would LOVE to see Wrex again.... i feel fairly certain though that he wouldn't be a permanent squaddie. if only because he has to take care of Tuchanka.


Edit:   Does anyone know if Legion has an omni-tool?  i mean, being a geth, he wouldn't... right?

Was just playing ME2 again...

Does anyone else feel like Legion is one of the most stable personalities on the Normandy? It feels like I am in a sea of crazies sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, I love almost everyone on the squad, but between tiptoeing around Jack, Grunt's identity crisis, Zaeed's revenge and everybody's family issues, Legion's a breath of fresh air.

I completely agree, Sennen. Though, I'm not sure I'd want to see an unstable geth platform.

And crazy Legion sounds hilarious... and not so far removed from the real Legion. After all, what kind of geth suddenly starts doing the robot? I mean, there wasn't even any music!

in another forum it was suggested that non-romanced chars should romance each other so...

YES! he is in my top 5 with Garrus, Tali, Wrex, and Mordin.

He is probably one of the most interesting characters because  he is the last thing you'd expect: a friendly Geth. Which is also as badass as Wrex

I don't know why, but I always feel off when people assume the notion of "permanent squadmate" will be present in ME3 altogether. I guess it's saddening that you guys might be ruining the game for yourselves by building up such expectations. Sure, I may be wrong, but nobody at this point knows how squadmates are gonna work. The only thing we DO know: not like in the previous games.

well..... he at least shows up in the next game. not sure if its for one mission or more, but i'm really hoping that its more than ME2. I mean, really, yeah i had the option to get him for longer... if i wanted to sacrifice my entire crew.
