You might not have to choose sides.  Shepard may be able to work things out between them.  Suppose we will have to wait and see on that, but I can see that being one of the routes.

Not only that if you tell him to not send any data he is finding he agrees ONLY until after the mission at which time he gives his cryptic "The creators will be held accountable for their actions against us." speech.

An extremely dangerous and untrustworthy companion to have long term.

Legion is the best. He's my fellow sniper and we even use the same gun and armor. He's hands down my favorite squadmate in mass effect 2. Unless Wrex is a permanent squadmate as well, it's gonna be Legion, Garrus and me through the whole third game.

That's why I save all of my N7 missions and Project Overloard, until after the suicide mission.

@Hellbound555 Legion, of course. Thane has the weakness of human- err. drell- error. Legion doesn't have that.

Legion's loyalty mission choice! What did you choose? How do you think both choices will affect ME3?

I personally think that rewriting the geth should bite you in the ass. Like, the heretics may be rewritten and all, but it doesn't stop them from switching back again. And all networked geth share their memories, yes? Some of the true geth, after seeing some awesome stuff The Old Machines have done, could easily have doubts on 'building own future' and convert to the heretic side.

Blowing up the geth. My canon choice. Safe, secure and more ethical in my opinion.
(I don't like brainwashing sentient machines, k? )
