Normally, i really wouldnt be too concerned about these stories since i dont really register on every developers site, but this site is different since BW cares about their community and fans and interacts with us all the time, it would be a horrible thing to see that happen here, i think we care about this community too much.
Didnt mean to come off as a downer, just voicing a legitimate concern that i hope turns out to be nothing.

"On June 14th, LulzSec took down four websites by request of fans as part of their "Titanic Take-down Tuesday". These websites were Minecraft, League of Legends, The Escapist, and IT security company FinFisher. They also attacked the login servers of the massively multiplayer online game EVE Online, which also disabled the game's front-facing website, and the Free to Play MOBA League of Legends login servers. Most of the takedowns were performed with denial-of-service attacks."

So far so good - you announce your passwords, too, then? Not that the vast majority of BSN users would misuse them, however, there might be some pranksters who would.

So, one might think, this site is not secure from hackers. Looks like they're after bigger and bigger fish and this time they probably bit more they can chew, though.
The CIA has become the latest target of self-styled "pirate ninja" hackers LulzSec.
The Central Intelligence Agency website was unavailable for a few minutes on Wednesday evening as the group announced the attack via Twitter: "Tango down – cia.gov – for the lulz".
"We are looking into these reports," a CIA spokeswoman said.
The hackers, who describe themselves as "the world's leaders in high-quality entertainment at your expense", have gained international notoriety this month with a series of security breaches.
Over the weekend LulzSec broke into a public website of the US Senate and released data stolen from the legislative body's computer servers.
Last week they hacked the website of an unnamed NHS organisation – one of England's primary care trusts. The Department of Health said no patient's medical records were accessed during the incident, which it described it as "a local issue" and "quite a low-level" lapse in IT security.
Earlier this month LulzSec broke into the website of Sony Pictures Entertainment and exposed information from 37,000 users, including names, passwords, birthdates and email addresses. It also hacked into a webserver belonging to Nintendo in the US.
The name of the group is derived from "LOL" (laugh out loud) and "security".

Yesterday (June 14), we learned that a hacker gained unauthorized access to the decade-old BioWare community server system associated with the Neverwinter Nights forums. We immediately took appropriate steps to protect our consumers' data and launched an ongoing evaluation of the seriousness of the breach. We have determined that no credit card data was compromised, nor did we ever have or store sensitive data like social security numbers. However, hackers may have obtained your user account name and password, email address, country and date of birth, as well as other information (if any) that you may have associated with your EA Account. As a result, we have changed your password to ensure account security. Please visit this https://www.ea.com/nl/********** to reset your password immediately.
We take the security of your information very seriously and regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. If your username, email address and/or password on the Neverwinter Nights forums are similar to those you use on other sites, we recommend changing the password at those sites as well. We advise all of our fans to always be aware of any suspicious emails or account activity and report any suspicious emails and account activity to Customer Support at 1-866-543-5435.
