So how do you think will we be able to customize his face. I've got to admit that the one they did in ME2 was very clever. I'm also hoping it will be a better CC with more variety.

This is the future. Plastic surgery is easier than putting a makeup.

Scene: Cerberus after Shepard, the Alliance offers an opportunity to change his identity to help hide from them, if you accept you change appearance but Cerberus shows up and finds out and messes up the whole thing but you keep the face. If you decline business as usual.

On his way to the trial he will see an orphanage on fire and either...

Paragon: Run inside and save a few children but receive third degree burns on his entire body

Neutral: Assist the civilians and form a fire line only for a piece of molten metal from the orphanage to give him third degree burns all over his body.

Renegade: Ignore the burning orphanage and instead decide to get a few touch ups at the local plastic surgery office

Probably it will be like the first game, instead of literally changing his face. Except Shepard will have to be going through somekind of identification process for the trial, going over his status and what not.

Why can't we just edit our Shepard before the game? Not everything needs a grandiose explanation you know.

Conclusion: Renegaes win as usual :police:

That's what I think too. Frankly, another story explanation would feel forced. Poor Shepard is so unlucky he gets his face dismantled twice. Cliche. Just let us fix whatever we like before the game begins.

I don't think we will have recustomization.

You can't change the imported face in ME3. Only the hair.

...That's...lame.

We better be able to change faces like ME2. Otherwise it's just silly. The new people are gonna get new faces so why not imports?

They shouldn't let you change his face if you carry over characters it makes the plot kinda silly, especially with the way people would still recognize you anyways

Shepard should keep getting cosmetic changes, it would confuse the reapers.

Facial reconstruction seems to be piece of pie in the 2100s.

I can imagine something Black Emporium-ish in ME3, where you can change your appearance at will.

I think it was pretty stupid that you could completely change your face around from a ME1 import and people will recognize who you are in ME2. I guess people could throw that off as a "Assumes you looked like that in ME1", but, y'know.

I always interpreted it as metagaming, and that's fine.  If you're really into roleplaying or something, I could see why it might bother you.

Honestly, it should irritate you more that everyone recognizes Shepard with his/her face fully hidden by a recon hood or something.

Mentioned in several tweets, and I'm way too tired to rifle through those things right now.

Okay I really don't think we get to change the whole face. Casey has only confirmed new hairstyle, which sounds reasonable when it's been 2 months (or something like that.)

I hope we only can change hair becuase I see no point in doing a complete makeover

Good thing I am stubborn enough to keep the face I made in ME 1, no matter how ugly my Shepard's mug is I won't change it and to be honest my canon is probably one of my worst looking Shepards.

I'm pretty sure those tweets only confirmed that we could change hair. None of them said face customization wasn't possible.

Shepard gets in a bar brawl with seven krogan. Shepard wins, but his/her face is beaten to a pulp and needs reconstructive surgery.
