How will Shepard change his face this time?

As others have mentioned the way it was done in me1 was pretty solid, though after 2 (or 1) game of face X its silly to change it to face Y, hairstyle/facial hair/jewelry/makeup changes sure, but face changing just seems a bit silly at this point to incorporate in a story way. (the other stuff can easily be done as a, wake up get ready for trial thing.)
I am very impressed as to how my Sheppard can keep her clothes & hair sqeaky clean & neat in the most intensive situations though.

I think it was pretty stupid that you could completely change your face around from a ME1 import and people will recognize who you are in ME2. I guess people could throw that off as a "Assumes you looked like that in ME1", but, y'know.
Its even more funny that people recognize my sheppard when she's wearing a full face helmet, then again Sheppard probably has an aura of fear or awe that anyone can recognize....

Good thing I am stubborn enough to
keep the face I made in ME 1, no matter how ugly my Shepard's mug is I
won't change it and to be honest my canon is probably one of my worst
looking Shepards.
I'm also happy i kept my face from me1 (although its not as perfect in certain light conditions <<...), tried recreating my sheppard on the pc with that free me2 copy they handed out with da2, but couldnt get the right red or green in regular character creation anymore. (sure savegame editing gave me creepy green eyes, but still...).

NAME: [SHEPARD]
ERROR IN DATABASE
[BEGIN REBUILD]
It could exactly start like in Mass Effect 1.
And who cares if people recognize you after face-change... on this logic, you could never wear a different helmet than you did in Mass Effect 2, they wouldn't recognize you either. So there's not a real point here.

The tweets do say there won't be customization of imports, but they do say we will have new hairstyles.
Then I demand that my renegade Shep still has her glowing scars!
I'm fine with the fact that you can't redesign your face completely, but what if the new graphics make your Shep look wierd?
(Happened to me in ME2 and I had to redesign one of my Sheps since you couldn't tweak the imported face).
Some tweaking should be allowed since the graphics are updated (and plastic surgery should be easy in the ME universe, with all the medi-gel and whatnots).
Otherwise you'd have to replay ME2 and hope that your face will look good when importing.

So if we want to be able to play as all classes without using the stripped down default new game backstory, we will need to have six ME2 imports, one for each class?
No offense bioware but that's going backwards if it's true. I could experience all of ME2's classes with only one ME1 import.

I agree. Fallout 3 didn't need one.-Skorpious- wrote...
Why can't we just edit our Shepard before the game? Not everything needs a grandiose explanation you know.

I remember my sheo looked fine in me1 on my standard def tv then I imported him into me2 on my hdtv and well lets just say he needed some work done lol
See? I'm not the only one. Except, I had a cruddy TV for ME1 and ME2. I just now got a high quality HD monitor, but I don't feel like re-doing all of my playthroughs over again, especially the planet scanning. Besides, unless the imports have the time and date on them, I'm gonna be screwed...
