Hello! I am pretty new to the forums and I would like to show some of my fanart here, I think, this is the right place for it, isn´t it? Feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think or don´t think... or just simply look at it. :)

Btw - How can I link with a small picture preview here? I tried with my HTML knowledge... but... it would not work...

If you have a small pic you'd like to use, the code goes like this: *url=<url of full-sized image>**img*<url of thumbnail image>*/img**/url*

Except subsitute [ or ] where I've put all the *. I can't put them in the example or it will try to actually make links etc.

It's not really HTML, unfortunately, and things like this is one of the major ways in which BBCode differs from HTML.

By the way, everyone should check out Mavrosh's art --it's really good! :wizard:

Thank you very much! I have no knowledge of BBCodes, only HTML so I think it is time again to learn something new. I give it a try now... ^_^

Looking at your most recent efforts, I think you almost have it: just switch the second [ to ] and the first ] to [ (you need to bracket the image tags, like in HTML, but using [ ] instead of < >), and that should do it.

Wonderful... it just won´t work... I give up for now... I have to leave and my son keeps on talking nonstop while I am thinking and aaaahhhh... I give it a try later.

Thank you for believing in me!

EDIT: I got it, finally. The funny thing is that it now says "image removed" where the thumbnail should be. And I am sure I have done it right. because it apears in the text edit window thingy while I am writing here. You can click on it and then see the picture but... it will not show the thumbnail. Yeah, I give up.

Just look.

Here, if you're still interested, go to this linked post, in which I've posted a reduced-size pic of an illustration for my fanfic (wouldn't exactly call it a thumbnail, but you can use a thumbnail-sized pic in yours if you want) which is also a link to the full-size pic on deviantArt. If you Quote that post and then click on the BBCode button in the editor, you will see the code I used to create that link on the pic. And then you can just substitute your own URLs, of course.

Hope that helps. I've faved your work on deviantArt and I think people here would really enjoy it, but of course they're more likely to click on the links if there's a preview.
