At this moment in time I am doing some speed runs to get my various ME2 playthroughs completed due to the fact that I will be fairly busy with other games this fall and winter, but when trying to skip through some of the dialogue I end up accidently choosing responses by pressing the "X" Button.

So Bioware, for ME3 please make it so you cannot respond to characters when you rpess the "X" Button, there is a reason why the "A" Button excists.

Yeah I think this point has been raised before and I agree that hopefully they'll fix it in ME3. In fact am sure a Dev has commented on this subject and said they are fixing it? Might be wrong though.

YES! Just go with the DA2 option, where the cursor starts in the middle of the wheel every question, so you can make accidental choices.

Fixed?

I just hold the analogue towards the north-west/10 o'clock position. If you've played enough, you'll manage to memorise and avoid when a dialogue option pops up there.

Make the "skip dialog" button only skip dialog, not choose dialog options.

Yeah that happend to me several times before working out a "fix", you can hold the selector strate up or down when the conversation starts and when it comes to the selection wheel you don't accidentaly choose a response.

This has been brought up many times times, the devs are fine with the dialogue controls and see no reason to add another button, besides...it's a very minimal problem.

As for the intro, they want to remind you who made and published the game, whether you like it or not. :P
If you're actually talking about the cinematic intro for a new character, there are ways to skip it, search the forums.

/signed. A very simple fix that has no reason not to be added.

I don't think an additional button is a good solution. How about adding a time-out for skipping dialogue? Like, when you skip a line that has the dialogue wheel appearing after it, you can't press the button again for some time.

Skippable intro after getting Long-Service Medal achievement - yesplz.

Hold on, where's this 'additional button' stuff coming from? If anything, we want them to remove a button function that's on two buttons. On the XBox 'A' and 'X' can both choose dialogue options. The problem could be resolved by just limiting selection ability to the 'A' button while still allowing the 'X' to skip dialogue.

Skippable intro after first playthrough get a thumbs-up from me too.

100% support this. It gets rather annoying but I've figured out a way past it that usually works. On 360, just use point your analogue stick up or down as they are no speech responses in those directions when they initially talk and hold it there until the dialogue shows.

100% supported. I love the writing but after playing through more than twice, sometimes I just want to fast forward and having to reload an autosave is a pain in the ass.

Very much yes.

This is a problem with the PC, too. ESC for scene skipping, please.

Agreed. That's massively frustrating on second playthroughs (or when you died right before a boss battle and reloaded).
