Yes, it's true only such things have happend in Africa one of the biggest continent on earth. It has never happend before in both north and South America, neither has it happend in Europe or Asia. Because, people are so advance in both tech and culture. I guess the WW2 is just a myth, we have all dismissed the claim. Only some people with a minor state of mind would believe it. Not to mention, all the starvation catastrophe during 50 and 60s in Asia is not true either or the Khmer genocide in Kombodja. The US goverment has never performed any genocide against the Native American because how can civilized goverment do that. it's just absurd how historian can made up stories who has never existed. The Reapers will surely spare Africa because it's an emty void with with subhumans. I totaly agree with you OP.

Racism is now a catch-all term for culturalism as well. If you disrespect the state for having a backwards culture, people will refer to you as racist, even though race never plays into it. However, I would argue that the OP is being simplistic and misleading.

Now, if I were an African, I would probably be offended that you were simply characterizing a whole continent with sweeping generalizations. There are peaceful areas of Africa. There are prosperous areas of Africa. There are developed areas of Africa. There are Africans of every race (lots of Indians, Chinese, and Europeans in Africa as well as native Africans) who live happy family lives and have good jobs. 

Africa is incredibly rich in natural resources. Many parts of Africa are currently undergoing a development boom. A huge youth population in north Africa are pushing for democracy and human rights, which means their culture is evolving. There is a lot going on. 

I like this human.  He understands.

personally i wouldnt really want to go to africa, its hot, its easy to catch disease or parasites, lots of third world countries, warlords, genocide, ect. (i know its not all like that but when we're talking about the whole continent you gotta count it all)

nothing against the people though, ive met a ton of african exchange students at my college. they were some of the friendliest people ive ever met, the only weird thing about them was that they wore full wool sweaters in the middle of summer which seemed crazy to me lol, but i guess when you're used to super hot weather 85 degrees would be nothing to you lol

Since you obviously aren't going to figure out what I'm trying to say on your own, I'll explain for you:

You called me troll so I defended myself by saying I was "hardly trolling" with this thread. For some strange reason, you then proceed to assume that I was trying to claim my thread was a serious one. To clear up your confusion, I then explain to you that what I meant by "hardly trolling" was that I realized this thread was a weak troll attempt and dind't really do much to disrupt activity on this forum or anger anybody. Now, you're showing stupidity again by assuming that I just claimed that I was no troll with my statement. Sorry, but I can't keep carrying on this convo with you because obviously you're slow when it comes to picking up things

I don't think it matters if he is trolling or not. Africa is underdevolped compared to most other places. I've spoken to several people from Africa and they all agree that life there sucks. Hence why people leave there and move to other places. If people loved it so much they would stay there. There are some cities there that aren't bad, but the majority of the continent is horrible. Its not about racism at all. Its facts.

It's ironic that you're questioning someone else's intelligence yet you have made several errors with your own posts. Not that it's surprising. I shouldn't expect people to be able to speak anything other than "texting" language on the internet.

I don't get why you created this thread. If it's on-topic it's incorrect, because Africa moved up in the future and Reapers target all sentient life. If it's off-topic then this thread it breaking forum rules by being in the wrong section. So far I haven't seen much Mass Effect discussion other than the occasional person who points out the Reapers harvest everyone. That makes this thread off-topic, and must either be moved or locked.

Considering that the topic's creator is not discussing the state of the African continent in 2183 or the IN the ME Universe for that matter, that not only makes this discussion off-topic, it also renders it pointless.

Considering the different amount of ethniticities that live in africa, I have a hard time finding it "racist" when he says the continent 'sucks'.

Somehow I find it more humorous that people are making such claims because he used Africa, while they most likely wouldn't have made such a claim if he had used other regions like for example Eruope, despite there prob being an equal amount of different ethniticies in that region.

Sometimes I think people just want to feel offended if they can.

Insults tend to be taboo on internet forums as well as spam, which an off-topic thread in a video game section can be considered as. I don't think this will be a good place to be when a moderator comes by. If you want to start a discussion about Africa then you should head on over to the off-topic section. If you want to tell a joke then I suggest you wait for the opportunity in an existing thread rather than create an entire thread for a single joke. Please avoid doing this in the future, because now everyone is being distracted form the other discussions on this board due to this thread's existence.

• Create an off-topic thread
• Just tell the joke in an existing thread where it will be forgotten after a page or two.

Sorry, I'm not a Grammar ****, so I personally don't feel the need to laugh at somebody for simply making a typo. People type too fast and they make typos. I find it sad that people need to harass somebody just because they made a simple mistake.

Also, how is inserting an extra letter butchering the word?
