So what are you hoping will go down when we eventually meet our least favorite ambassdor in ME3? Personally I am hoping we get to punch him in the face.
Hell, I hope Udina is at Shepard's trial. He'll be talking all this **** about us, then the Reapers will show up. Would be hilarious to see his face in that situation... and then after that you could punch him out if you wanted.

Udina[With ragged breathing]: Shepard, I don't think I'm going to make it...

Udina[Weak laughter]: I don't think that matters to me anymore. Shepard, I just want you to know [cough] that I'm so sorry for what I've done... I know that I'm responsible for all this! Damn it, if I wasn't so ****ing stupid I could have done something about this!
Paragon Shep: You did the best you could, no one can blame you for that.
Or
Renegade Shep: You should have trusted me, Udina.
Udina: I know that now... [Cough] Just... [Cough] Give them hell for me commander...

That would really bring home the idea of the Unity needed to beat the Reapers, and prevent a character being remembered as being a total idiot. It also would be dramatic, I think...

I'm cool with Syreniac's general interpretation. Never hated Udina as much as a lot of other players, though; not because he isn't an ass in my eyes, but moreoever because he has a few absolute gems in his dialogue.

I wasn't going to read at first...but started and got caught up...this is very good, you have quite a handle on ME dialog.
Honestly, I couldn't see Shepard saying "Damn it Udina, just hang in there". Just not Shep's style... then again, some of the renegade dialogue can get a bit ridiculous.
Shep: Ok, but you still hurt my feelings.

Udina is more concerned with humanity's status than with publicly endorsing Shepard. He threw him under the bus with the council, but he also told Shepard to do whatever it took to accomplish his mission. Plus he passed along messages for Shepard while he was working with Cerberus. He's really not such a bad guy.

I believe it has been confirmed that this is not Udina, that's just the picture they are using to stand in for that mission. Either way, canonical Udina is still a human politician at this point according to the books.
