I think I got him killed in my first playthrough, he picked a fight with some turians I think, and died... according to the news report anyway.

It can get worse: If you just tell him to get lost he'll try to stop some people hitching a ride on top of a bus, he falls of, hits several passing cars and then falls into the power turbine of some facility. I can't help but feel bad for it but when I heard that new report on illium I fell of my chair laughing...

What, I'm not sure, but him destroying a reaper would be pretty cool.

Yeah it was, after I stopped laughing I reloaded an earlier save and I just helped conrad out. I'm just too curious as to what happens to him in ME3. But let's be realistic, conrad doesn't have the training nor experience to really help Shepard fight. To be honest I think he's in there for laughs, still, BW needs to be careful with the timing so as to not mess up any intense scenes but I'm confident in their ability to do so. *Sigh* What should conrad do...

There'll be some ancient artifact which turns out to be the key to defeating the Reapers. Conrad will find it whilst poking through crates for extra credits.

"Damnit", Shepard will respond. "If only I hadn't stopped doing that two years ago!"

Conrad is gonna commit suicide, rushes in, screams "CONRAD VERNER!!!", and gets every race killed. ME3 ends

I think I'm going to have to lay off Verner for now on. My renegade FemShep put a gun to his face in the first game, then shot him in the foot in the second game, then she goes to Illium and listens to a news feed on how Verner has formed a charity foundation called "Shepards" for refugees and orphans. I felt really bad after that. Hope Shep gets a chance to meet him again and be nice to him for once. Got to make things right as we wrap up Sheps story here.

Have a feeling Conrad is going to be back in ME3 regardless if he died in a news report in either ME1 or ME2. He'll be like a Looney Toon character -- always alive no matter what kills him. Thus Conrad is Bioware's running joke of the Mass Effect series.

if that's the case I certainly hope he appears in future installments of the series (yes, it's been said that there will be more mass effect games, the trilogy is just shepard's story)

In a few of my games it says Conrad Verner dies on the Asari planet you hear a news report about it

or my other idea would be to have a "Kick-ass" moment, where some cerberus agents have found the location of commander Shepard. They go to that place and brutally murder him, only for the camera angle to change and reveal Conrad face, and he had been up to his old tricks again.

he might as well have....   and I also like the idea of Conrad being mistaken for shepard by cerberus as well.

Shepard will be catured by Cerberus, awaiting the arrival of Harbringer, when Conrad stumbles in, being his usual dumb and fumbling self and saying some dumb-ass line.  He'll pull his gun to try to save Shepard and the thermal clip will eject on its own, leaving him unarmed.  Then three Cerberus agents will close in on Conrad to take him into custody two when he explodes with a flurry of very tight, presision unarmed strikes ala Thane's intro in ME2/Jason Bourne in the embassy of the first movie where he takes those three douwn fast.  The last of the three he grabs around the neck and takes hostage style to use as a shield while the other cerberus agents fire into their fellow agent.  Conrad grabs his hostage/shield cerberus agent's handgun from its holster and takes out the remaining Cerberus agents, each with one perfect single fire headshot.  He then opens Shepards cell, throws him a gun which Shepard catches, and says something extremly badass in a voice several octives lower than what he normally hear him speak.
