I know you can do this in ME2, but is there a way to respec your squad points in ME1?
Willing to use the console to do this if needed.

NG+ resets squad points. Other than that I personally don't know of a way, maybe someone else knows of a console command.

Not that I've ever found, but unless you've totally messed things up (pretty hard to do) you should be ok.
