I can't watch your vid since i have 't been able to play the game yet. But if you are getting this kind of feedback from a hobby then it's time to start truly looking into it as a career. You never know where it will lead^_- Most in the industry start out just like your doing.
then they make a short film and send it to short film festivals, then they do an indie film, then they get backing for a major production. See it has to start somewhere man.
Hope to check out your video after I play the game.
I have to prove it wasn't:
A. Luck
B. Only awesome because of the music
C. part of the Matrix. Keanu Reeves had a point...
Just let me net another successful production and then I'll get in touch with Michael Bay
Update: Modern Warfare 2 montage is up and running.. there are some copyright issues. It isn't getting as good a response as this video, but I mostly attribute that to the limitations of the genre, the short campaign, and the fact that I slapped it together in 3 hours. I'll try again

you could at some point work for some company or something in your college that has to do with marketing by making a video showing how awesome the product is^_-

Wow,i really really enjoyed the video man,and it made me realize something...WOW we got real screwed with the graphics on the console's.
Um... If the graphics on this video are representative of the graphics in the pc game, then no we didn't. I'm using a 360 connected to my 1080P hdtv via hdmi cable, and they look quite the same, actually.
I don't know, maybe the graphics problems are with people's setups, not with the game itself. Because that video looked, well, actually, lower res than some of the actual game on my nice 46" 1080p hdmi setup. If this is any true comparison, then you've got to check your system setup.
Back on topic though, nice video montage. I thought the music was a good choice. I've completed 2 playthroughs and almost 3, so not spoiled. Nicely done.

I was really impressed by it then, I am still impressed by it now! Great Job! (and like you, perhaps?, I'm also a huge fan of Risen... I loved your review on it.. and unlike you, since you never played it, I'm an old Gothic fan too!)

I remember watching this as soon as it was done and it has inspired me to make a few ones too, although not par with this and just trying to register the funny party banter. And then some more stuff on the game, mostly for my own pleasure and later review on what I'd done in the game.

Nice. I'll have to check yours out.

Actually, I recorded the footage while running the graphics at maximum, except I think the Antialiasing was only at 4x. I also have it running 1920x1080 on 1080p. I'm surprised the graphics look the sameor better on consoles.
Thanks for the kind comments all. It helps put me in a good mood during stressful finals week

1. This is a really old thread so the mods probably would have done something by now.Denhvide wrote...
(NO SPOILERS ALLOWED)
2. Bioware commented here so I really don't think they care.
3. I gave tons of warnings. No spoilers are out in the open and no one's forcing you to watch the video.

And yeah, the graphics are still better on PC, but if you have an HD screen for your Xbox, they aren't like Night and Day better.

Yep, as long as no spoilers creep into the thread itself, it can stay here. And no, this isn't an invitation to post spoilers. But we do care, regardless of whether a Bio rep posts or not.
Loved the vid.
Lots of new viewers this week! Thanks for watching, everyone.

wrong spoilers?
love the video, even if i initially cringed at yet another video with a requiem for a dream track, but as was said it's perfectly used and even synced. Just a shame i can't show it to other people to convince them to play DA due to all the spoilers.

You can use Wabfloyd's Trailer Edition Mod video for that. I did it in some german forum (english section of course) with some DA bashers and well, they now can stop comparing it to whatever game they were doing it and some are
really changing their minds about DA! (even a BW guy loved this vid and shared with all BW)
The Best DA Video - in Toolset Cutscenes cinematics category! - I never compare, I just love them all, like I love the montage! (forgot to say... no spoilers in this one!)

Great video, you inspired me to make one myself...
I'm thinking... the point up to the anvil does have some spoilers but not game-breaking ones. I just know I wouldn't mind showing the video up to that point to my skeptical friends. But I did show this to a close friend of mine who wasn't planning on getting the game, and she went out and bought the game a couple days after. She watched the entire thing and didn't mind I guess.
