I know they are chopping down the amount of characters you can play with in ME3, but I was really looking forward to seeing what might happen if Shepard and Morinth were to hook up. If you remember, if you choose to keep her instead of Samara (preferably you are playing renegade), during your conversations with her on the Normandy she mentions how no one has been strong enough to survive being with her and then mentions how Shepard might be different because he is so strong. I know it is a little late to in the game for them to be adding stuff, btu if anyone in Bioware reads these posts, at least make that a downloadable content for after the game comes out. You guys set up all of these story lines and now we won't be able to play a lot of them out based off of our decisions in ME2.

You can follow through on that and do the deed...

You die.

I really don't see where Morinth will impact the game. but who knows maybe she's the renegades savior. I'm interested to see what kind of storyline she gets in ME3 though.

I'm going to take a look at the other thread that was linked, but I wanted to mention that there exists a reload option after making that choice.  To me, all I can think is there may be something else that needs to happen/be done to be successful.  I mean, the first time I went through with it (and endured the very silly dialogue) I thought there was something I missed in-game that would allow me to survive.  I went back to an earlier save just to see if there was something I needed to pick up or not.

I'm still debating whether or not I will pick Morinth in my Renegade playthrough. And if I do, should I have her die in the suicide mission?

I wish they could tell us what role Morinth would have so that I can decide what to do in ME2...but I know they can't. This is hard.

Simple answer is to have mutiple playthroughs.

Well, taking Morinth is a renegade thing to do, even though really disgusting thing to do, betraying a loyal squad member for a cunning and manipulative one. Cant know anything about ME3 but I was disappointed with general lack of dialogue from Morinth (Samara has a lot more lines)
