I like any snack that doesn't leave a residue on your fingers or can simply be eaten with a fork. Minimizes any risk of getting your mouse and keyboard dirty! Cheese and crackers are quick and tasty, beef jerky isn't a bad choice either. As for drinks, I am a huge fan of flavored sparkling water, iced teas, and vitamin water.

I drink water and I don't snack. I hate doing cardio, so I try to take in as few empty calories as I can to avoid doing more than a 30 minute run a day.

I don't generally snack at the PC. As for drinks, two things usually - water and chocolate flavored soy milk (!).

Rum, soda, water, Tampico citrus punch, Gatorade, chips and salsa (or spinach dip. Or southwestern Ranch dip), Italian Subs, pizza, any other food.
I'm always hungry and yet I'm incredibly skinny. So to me everything is a snack.
I always keep a towel or napkins/baby wipes nearby too.

Popcorn, grapes, chips. Anything that's easy to shove in my mouth while in the middle of a firefight.

If I ate snacks while gaming I'd be as big as a house.
Popcorn can work though.

Combos and Turkey Hill iced tea.
I feel bad for people who don't know of or have no access to Turkey Hill iced tea. It is by far the best iced tea on the planet, bar none.

That must be because they use real turkeys in their iced tea.

I eat dodo bird omelettes and komodo dragon steaks topped with a bearnaise sauce, the butter of which comes from frozen wooly mammoth milk captured in glaciers. Only the best monsieur!
I enjoy a liquid diet when playing games mostly, eating just makes a mess of the keyboard. And by the above statements, you might guess the drinks involve beers, wines or liquors.

When I was playing DA:O, it was in the evenings, and my favorite fortifying meal (because I had to play at least a few hours at a time) was BLT Bucatini.
Snack-wise, I'll go with some sort of nut mix, or chocolate-covered gummy bears. Drink wise, water and sometimes whisky (but never together).

I usually play games before I go to bed, or after I finish my nervous works, or even nothing to do but I'd rather not to breath all day. But there is no reason for gaming and eating at the same time. Why don't people just take a rest for a while and prepare their meal than gaming all the time and eat the non-nutrition food for the meal? I wonder how can you get so much energy for gaming like that.

LOL unless you're playing kinect or Wii or something it doesn't require much energy. I agree tho that eating and playing just doesn't work. You can get crap on your controller or mouse + keyboard I rather fire up something to watch while I'm eating/slashing besides it takes all my focus to game (I actually tried eating graham crackers while playing DA:O earlier and I got killed when I reached for another one)

I neither have Wii or something like it. I'd like to keep my place for gaming to stay clean and not so "smelly" or so much dirty like my trash can because of the crap after the "meal" while gaming, I'd rather not eat a things but drink a lot.
Over all i've passed my age for gaming and gaming all the time, so it is time for more "discipline" in the life to not get overwhelmed.

Wheat thins with Colby cheese will forever remind me of staying up late, playing Dragon Age for the first time, and feeding my puppy things he should not be eating (such as cheese). Those have become my main gaming snack since then, along with a diet root beer. This is after a huge cup of coffee, though.

I like drinking a coke from the freezer when its like a slushy. Other than that, I don't really eat while playing because I hate getting my controller dirty.

For someone who's called chunkyman, I surprisingly don't eat often while gaming.
